Matching Sisters

So remember the first pictures I posted of Ellen and Rachel in matching clothes when Rachel was a baby?

Two years later Rachel is the big sister!

Outings with Grandma

My mom came for a week after Thanksgiving to help out. She took Ellen and Rachel out to do lots of fun things--they loved it!

Pretend City, of course!

Pictures of Katherine

My awesome friend, Suzana, came and took some pictures of our family and Kate when she was a week old. I've always wanted pictures like this, but haven't done them before. I love that this precious phase was captured in some beautiful pictures! Thanks Suzana!

Thanksgiving

We continued our annual tradition of going to the beach on Thanksgiving. We went in the evening this year and saw a beautiful sunset.

These three don't care how cold it is--there is fun to be had in the water!

Kate and I cuddled and kept warm. She set a new record in our family for youngest baby to go to the beach at 8 days old. (Record previously held by Rachel at 12 days old).

Fun with Grandma

Jeff's mom came and stayed with Ellen and Rachel while I was in the hospital. They had so much fun with her, I'm pretty sure they didn't even notice Jeff and I weren't around!

They went to Pretend City one day.

And made a few trips to the park.

In the Hospital

Here are some pictures from the first few days of Kate's life while we were in the hospital.
Apparently a hospital tradition to give dad a fun tattoo.

Family of 5!!

Ellen and Rachel are in love with their baby sister.

We watched a football game together the second night and Jeff said "A baby and football. I could do this all night!"

Ready to go home!
