  • On the other hand, I set up a dual boot with 1 of my 4 ssds being available to both OS just in case. That was 8 or so months ago, and I haven’t booted into Windows 10 once since then.

My 165hz monitors are fine at 165, and that was without any config (NobaraOS). All the games I actively play work fine, and the closest thing to an issue is have is my H.O.T.A.S. registering only 12 or so buttons/switches instead of the much larger amount it has, but i haven’t put any effort into figuring it out because I only use it for one game.

Experiences vary, but I feel like you’re judging a whole platform from choosing a simple Windows replacement then switching to one of the harder OS’s to setup.

There’s plenty designed more for gaming which seems to be your monitor setup.

  • I left the religion (cult) I was raised in in my 30s. That’s a change in my whole outlook and ideology, from door to door preaching about an old book which claims to be about love despite also saying what to hate (and other stuff like support of slavery, though they didn’t preach that part much) to being someone who now fully supports many of the things that old book condemned. Lost all my friends, and parts of my family think I’m now going down wrong path etc.

Just because you can’t doesn’t mean others can’t. As long as you’re willing to examine your life and change things you used to believe when presented with new evidence, that can change a lot about you. While I never really bought into the hate side from the start, it took some effort to stop thinking a vengeful God in the sky was going to punish me for having doubts. I finally came across something that expanded one of those pushed down doubts and was able to shake that, and realize that even what I thought was me being sorta open minded was still just wrong.

If you get to that point in life, it could appear to some that you’ve completely changed, and it could be surprising.

  • Sure. It’s possible you may. However, you sound like a 12 year old boy claiming something grandiose. If you really have a relationship that you cannot disclose, don’t go telling people that. No one will believe you, unless they’re the type to fall for Alex Jones level nonsense. Claims require proof, or at least common or searchable knowledge, otherwise who can take your claim seriously?

I could claim I also know a billionaire and claim the opposite of you. Or that the billionaire you know is just a moron. Many of them are.

Edit: Also, why do people always assume everyone would do the same thing as themselves? Just because you wouldn’t carry a cell phone doesn’t mean everyone has the same paranoia as you.
