The Grammarly link you edited into your first comment doesn’t even support a classification of “learnt” as informal, it literally just describes it as a dialect difference. You’re doing the same thing as telling a Brit that they’re spelling the word incorrectly if they write “colour”
I think I’ve been quite clear in repeatedly saying that “learnt” was not wrong to use in the context that it was used in there. You’ve so far ignored that:
The Grammarly source that you linked yourself does not say that “learnt” is wrong
The dictionary.com page that the other person linked does not say that “learnt” is wrong
A word being the less common form doesn’t mean it’s wrong

Please look at the link again and pay attention to the difference in regional dialects. I would have been happy to learn that it was accepted in other places but instead I’ve been told to masturbate, and had two other people be a fucking asshole to me. I’m not, but “irregular” does not mean “wrong” either. Heaps of English words have irregular forms. “Built” is one of them.
