I think I’ve been quite clear in repeatedly saying that “learnt” was not wrong to use in the context that it was used in there. You’ve so far ignored that:

      • The Grammarly source that you linked yourself does not say that “learnt” is wrong

      • The dictionary.com page that the other person linked does not say that “learnt” is wrong

      • A word being the less common form doesn’t mean it’s wrong

      • A word being informal doesn’t mean it’s wrong

      • A word being irregular doesn’t mean it’s wrong

I haven’t ignored anything but if you are going to be an asshole then I am going to ignore you.

Please look at the link again and pay attention to the difference in regional dialects. I would have been happy to learn that it was accepted in other places but instead I’ve been told to masturbate, and had two other people be a fucking asshole to me. Only one person has been simply informative and I looked it up further. Until you can emulate them kindly fuck off.

Absolutely baffling response. Your link specifically says that “learnt” is valid in some dialects. You quoted one of the times that it says that. I’ve said it. At least two other people have said it to you as well. Either you haven’t read it or you are suffering from a crushing case of US-defaultism.

People, including me, have been rude to you because you started the conversation off by being rude and have continued being rude throughout the thread. The first comment you made was an attempt to mock someone for their spelling, which would be rude even if it was actually incorrect. Your replies to me have primarily been refusals to actually engage with anything I’ve said and, apparently, an equal refusal to properly read your own source.

You still aren’t reading what I am saying because it’s more important for me to be wrong than to have learned something in your mind. So goodbye.
