And you can get rechargeable AA and AAA batteries
I don’t like that their version only uses a tiny fire icon in the corner. These warehouses are COMPLETELY destroyed, but they look fine in these pictures.
I much prefer the other bingo card versions where the warehouses that’ve been entirely or mostly destroyed actually look that way. And warehouses that’ve been only partially destroyed get a smaller visual marking over just part of the picture

At a bare minimum i always appreciate an attempt to help, even if their ideas aren’t actually helpful
Yup, exactly, this news isn’t gonna hurt Trump in the slightest. It SHOULD, but it won’t.
Bad to who? It’s only bad to the people who already hate trump. To people who don’t care about trump this wont move the needle, and to people who like trump this might actually make them like him more
Stop with the nonsense headlines. Nothing here looks bad for Trump in terms of any impact to him.
Ooo that’s a fantastic thing!
Another cool thing is libraries don’t have to be just for books! Like I’ve seen toy libraries for little kids toys, they age through them so quickly
Autism@lemmy.world
From what I’ve read, having a deficit in social communication is a core definitional symptom.

“Autism spectrum disorder is defined by two core symptoms: a deficit in social communication and…”
https://www.autismspeaks.org/autism-diagnostic-criteria-dsm-5
“[The DSM-V states] that an autism diagnosis requires persistent deficits in social communication and social interaction across multiple contexts, as manifested by the following: deficits in social-emotional reciprocity, in nonverbal communicative behaviors used for social interaction, and in developing, maintaining and understanding relationships.”
https://www.autismalert.org/uploads/PDF/INFO–DSM%205%20Diagnostic%20Criteria.pdf
Exact text of the DSM-V on autism:
Diagnostic Criteria
A. Persistent difficulties in the social use of verbal and nonverbal communication as manifested by all
of the following:
- Deficits in using communication for social purposes, such as greeting and sharing
information, in a manner that is appropriate for the social context.
- Impairment of the ability to change communication to match context or the needs of the
listener, such as speaking differently in a classroom than on the playground, talking differently to a child than to an adult, and avoiding use of overly formal language.
- Difficulties following rules for conversation and storytelling, such as taking turns in
conversation, rephrasing when misunderstood, and knowing how to use verbal and nonverbal signals to regulate interaction.
- Difficulties understanding what is not explicitly stated (e.g., making inferences) and
nonliteral or ambiguous meanings of language (e.g., idioms, humor, metaphors, multiple meanings that depend on the context for interpretation).
So, I’m not a diagnostician, but if you have above average ability to read social cues, then that sure sounds like it excludes a diagnosis of autism.
If anyone has information from an authoritative source that explicitly says otherwise then I’d be interested to see it, thanks
TIL, thanks
You can assume the pad is close to negligible. If you want more accuracy you can dry out the pad, weigh it, then subtract that from the total of the [meat + wet pad]
Do you have a link to an actual source that’s not just a person talking in their car?
Sure, but a pipe is completely phallic. Please tell me flower and clam are feminine
Pipe is feminine?!
You can weigh it with the pad to check
I wouldn’t be surprised if that person never actually ate UNbrind chicken plain in their life, and would be shocked at how bland some chicken can taste
Is there something to be gleaned?
This makes the chicken taste better too.
