Do you think Americans felt that way in the 70’s protesting Vietnam ? They had guns pointed at them quite a lot, but they knew the risk was worth it. Americans have been massively brainwashed to believe there is nothing they can do.
No, its much more about complacency. The whole world has always been suffering outside our protected bubble. "Starving kids in africa" and all that. People know damn well the suffering is spreading they just wont believe it can reach them until its biting at their heels.
The truth is, though, trump represents that very threat. Someone who would sell your own children to be sex trafficked and murdered. The mob. The deep state. Cult. All wrapped into one.
Fascism is here, and people still think time will wash it away when only it spreads.
Just think. If I were 100% correct all the suffering required to find out makes it not worth finding out.
If Im not correct, Id gladly be so but if only. If only people would act to prove me wrong.
