I stopped shopping at Amazon last year due to all their bullshit. But twice now I’ve bought from other retailers, Zappos and eBay, and the products were still delivered by Amazon. Actually it’s happened several times from eBay.

It’s actually a violation of eBay’s terms of service to use Amazon for dropshipping. You should be able to get a refund if a seller does that.

Only last year? I’ve been avoiding them for a long time. You can almost always find a “thing.com” store that sells just the thing I need and the blurb is written by someone independent who knows the subject and can tell me why or why not it is worth spending money on the more expensive version.

Walmart has engaged in the same type of behavior. Execs that do type of thing in China can face a firing squad.

Can you speak more to this? I know you’re right but interested if you know of any sources that cover Walmart doing this recently since a friend and I were just talking about their unethical business practices.
