Anyone who yearns for their life as child has developmental issues. I’m not trying to say that as a sick burn, I think it’s honestly sad and source of suffering for some people.

Stable vs unstable just means if there are changes happening or if it’s a static version. It doesn’t mean unstable as in wobbly or about to fall over. It’s a poor choice of a term, but that’s what developers use now.

This is a tricky one, though, isn’t it?
The end price of the console is ultimately set by the retailer. The retailer will typically make that price higher than they got it from the manufacturer. Some of that cost was paid by the retailer as tariffs, maybe some extra manufacturing costs were higher because of tariffs.
Who is getting the refund? A Japanese company? Or the Americans who had to pay tariffs? Either way, Sony don’t sell directly to the consumer, so the retailers would have to be gifted a refund by Sony, and then choose to trace and refund their customers.
I’m I completely wrong about this? How should this work?

I don’t think house racing will be banned in our lifetime. There’s to much money involved.
Remember when NSW tried to ban dog racing? It got overturned within a few weeks, which was months before it was going to even come into affect.
There’s way more money being moved with horses, if they couldn’t stop dogs in a single state there’s no chance to stop horses anytime soon.

And that’s because the first guy that got knocked out got hurt and they called for a volunteer

If it were 20s or 100s it would be more insulting, you understand this, no?
If it’s the difference between paying rent or not then it’s a huge problem that the behaviour exists to enable that situation. If it weren’t a cultural behaviour it would be called panhandling.

I live in a capitalist country, and we don’t have tipping

So, about that asshole thing…

To clarify on this, there is no possessive apostrophe with ‘it’ like their is with nouns. “Its” is a possessive pronoun like “his” or “hers”.

There are plenty of people who worry about being an asshole and end up never standing up for themselves. I don’t think it’s as simple as “if you’re worried you’re the asshole, you probably are”.
Honestly it sounds like you’ve got a network fault. What you’re describing is not normal.

Tipping is weird on its own. The idea that you are showing gratitude by pushing money on someone is gross at best and downright offensive at worst.
If someone tried to thank me with a hand full of change I’d tell them to fuck off.

Not that is should be a valid response, but you can jail break PlayStations to play whatever game you have a “back up” copy of. That tends to be my method of playing legacy PS games because it’s easier than dealing with discs.
At the end of the day, console gaming is a different product to PC gaming. That’s more obvious with Nintendo, but overall expectations should be different.

The comparison still doesn’t make sense. You can’t play a PlayStation disc on a different platform. If you buy a disc on console you are locked to that ecosystem.
Sony are doing this because not enough people buy discs to make it worth manufacturing, and PC gamers should know this because this new age of digital gaming started with the PC. Switching to PC just proves their point.

I’ve already done that, and still there’s a notable delay when I right click things. Especially anything in the taskbar
You had to pay to play online on Xbox a decade before that. It was free on PlayStation. When they changed it I just stopped playing online.

The most interesting things about season 1 was the other types of ET. The stuff they did with the Xenomorph wasn’t that was interesting or cool.
Over all, it moved very slowly, and wasn’t terribly satisfying for the amount of hours it asks you to devote to it.

The PS2 stood out because at the time all your video devices were silver or grey coloured plastic. The ps3 stood out because it was almost completely curves.

I have 10 at home, 11 at work.
11 is so slow. Right clicking anything has a noticeable delay. I won’t even bother listing the other problems. How do you make an os that is just sluggish and think “this is the next major release”
I’ll be staying with win10 ltsc on VMs for as long as I can manage, but most are on a flavour of Linux
