This year's breakouts like 'Project Hail Mary' and 'Obsession' were made by filmmakers who sweated. While CG-stuffed franchise disappointments such as 'Supergirl,' 'Moana,' and 'The Mandalorian and Grogu' looked lazy.
Yeah, like actors. It’s definitely not as CGI as Shrek or Toy Story. I find it honestly really weird to call a live action movie “100% CGI” when there clearly are human actors on screen.
More like 60/40 CGI. There were still a lot of practical things in that movie.
