Anyone else think progression is a little too slow?

Maybe a minigame of some sorts? But I think the pacing just needs to be adjusted. The first hardware upgrade basically takes up almost all of the required playtime, then the game snowballs and once you get server cluster trainings you instantly get the ghost ending. Are there other endings? I don't think I'd be able to get them unless I intentionally choose not to upgrade or train the bot.
The game is surprisingly challenging! Only rescued the cat in the hypercube/4th dimension space world thing. Trying to avoid the rolling flesh spheres and snowflakes is pretty hard. Never found the other 2 cats. I'd assume they're on top of the tree/pyramid satellite dish? I fell like 5 times trying to get up the tree. Got up the pyramid but couldn't get on the dish.
Puzzles are nice and simple so far though I do hope it does get more challenging or more unique puzzle features. The gun/battery mechanics feels quite similar to the game "The Turing Test". Maybe you could get some puzzle inspiration there. Finding all the crooks and crannies with PDAs as well as the cameras all tracking you are great/fun details.
I feel like the story could use a little more personal background/detail about the player character him/herself though I understand the story is still probably a WIP.
Also batteries don't have collision with elevator platforms as they move. Not a big bug (Maybe its intentional?) but I do think there is potential for puzzles that require you to move batteries with the lift.
Also just curious, did you draw any inspiration from other games? If so, which games are they?
Text is a little small and hard to read, but great game all around.
Edit: After playing it for a bit longer I do think progression scaling is very slow. Huge time gaps between upgrades and purchases, especially mid-game onwards. Maybe more varied upgrades could help? Or some kind of prestige upgrade?
UI is off a little.
