Anyone else think progression is a little too slow?

Someone make a 30 minute youtube essay please I need to understand this

Would be good

Maybe a minigame of some sorts? But I think the pacing just needs to be adjusted. The first hardware upgrade basically takes up almost all of the required playtime, then the game snowballs and once you get server cluster trainings you instantly get the ghost ending. Are there other endings? I don't think I'd be able to get them unless I intentionally choose not to upgrade or train the bot.

I like the concept of training a bot to trade a lot, but it gets pretty boring inbetween waiting to earn enough money for new hardware.

Edit: Progress snowballs right after you get server cluster. Your profit basically just goes through the roof

Playing in fullscreen makes it more grindy because the space is larger

PC

UI is off a little.

The game also keeps prompting you to keep clicking which gets annoying quickly.

Not an idle game

Returned to the game and it seems like the single auto scan has been fixed. Probably should have tried refreshing first before commenting.
Edit: The cancel button for new game+ doesnt seem to work.

Does the hot cube not work on mark up?
Edit: Doesn't seem to work at all actually

Holy crap this game is hard. But I guess that's the point.

Was spore an inspiration for this?

Maxing out parallel scanning reverts it back to only auto scanning one at a time. Also hope for there to be an option to disable the screen bending/distortion to just make it a flat screen.

Aww would have loved to try the bigger room

Game starts to lag a lot if you don't upgrade wave speed and the signals start overlapping

UI kinda broke when I clicked on a bugged file.

More incremental than a true idle, requires active play. Still it was fun

Not sure if its only me but the game gets really laggy after a period of playing, regardless of number of dominoes/numbers. Restarting the game every now and then fixes this so it isn't a big issue though.

After the 2nd prestige you basically get more and more credits exponentially. You don't even have to click to prestige any more. You can just jump to endgame prestige upgrades.
Also I wish there was a speed upgrade for autobuyer to reduce duration between upgrades.

Really wish there was a downloadable version. But  still enjoyed it a lot!

The game is surprisingly challenging! Only rescued the cat in the hypercube/4th dimension space world thing. Trying to avoid the rolling flesh spheres and snowflakes is pretty hard. Never found the other 2 cats. I'd assume they're on top of the tree/pyramid satellite dish? I fell like 5 times trying to get up the tree. Got up the pyramid but couldn't get on the dish.

Controls: WASD for wire selection, F to cut

The controls are quite hard

Puzzles are nice and simple so far though I do hope it does get more challenging or more unique puzzle features. The gun/battery mechanics feels quite similar to the game "The Turing Test". Maybe you could get some puzzle inspiration there.  Finding all the crooks and crannies with PDAs as well as the cameras all tracking you are great/fun details.

I feel like the story could use a little more personal background/detail about the player character him/herself though I understand the story is still probably a WIP.

Also batteries don't have collision with elevator platforms as they move. Not a big bug (Maybe its intentional?) but I do think there is potential for puzzles that require you to move batteries with the lift.

Also just curious, did you draw any inspiration from other games? If so, which games are they?

For anyone who comes across this: I'd recommend downloading it instead of playing in the browser because once you unlock and place down summoning circles the game starts to lag quite badly if you have multiple summoning circles.

Ahh I'd already gotten the coin but it didn't occur to me to backtrack to give it to him for a key. I'd thought he'd show up later. Thanks.

Anyone know how to get the rat tech out of the cage? I've been swimming around and diving but I have no Idea what to do. I've gotten to the sluice gate at the TV but there no wheel.

There's a sign that says sewer exit for you to swim up

I'm playing on Firefox 148.0, the lag between menus is still there on browser. PC specs: Ryzen 7 7700/RTX 3070Ti Super
Also the game screen is actually larger than the browser window so some of the UI is not visible.

I have skill issue. is hard

Game is hard and I have a skill issue

It would be nice if the game unpaused itself after putting something down/clicking on something. Having to press the play button again and again gets a little tiring.

Not sure if its because of my PC or its because its the browser version, but the loading time between screens is quite long/laggy

Short and fun demo. The upgrade page could use a scroll bar to indicate that you can drag left to right.

The loading between clicks to move between tabs is a little annoying though I get that its part of the style. Maybe an upgrade computer upgrade? Maybe as a prestige upgrade or something?

Text is a little small and hard to read, but great game all around.
Edit: After playing it for a bit longer I do think progression scaling is very slow. Huge time gaps between upgrades and purchases, especially mid-game onwards. Maybe more varied upgrades could help? Or some kind of prestige upgrade?

Fun incremental. I do hope there'll be an auto energy collect when you prestige or as a high tier upgrade at some point because collecting energy lategame gets pretty tiresome swinging your mouse everywhere.

Oh my god it never occurred to me to actually try right clicking. Good to know. Having manual upgrades be locked behind prestige seems a bit counter intuitive but if you made progression smoother it'd be completely fine I think.

Nice game. I do think early progression is a little tedious though, especially with all the clicking and dragging required. Some mouse related upgrades could help, like increased click area, stronger attraction, maybe even a right click to repel.

It says 5/6 upgrades maxed I can't find the 6th upgrade.
