Its kind of funny. The only video of his that I've taken the time to watch makes him sound kind of ok-ish (it might have been the one where he was talking about consumerism or something along those lines), but then everything that I've heard about him since is just awful.
I had a similar experience where I watched a bit of his stuff some months back when Iran situation was first heating up, it seemed like fairly straightforward analysis of imperialist geopolitics we were all watching play out. And then yeah, looked a bit beyond that to see some other content and it got weird real quick, turned into quite the "nope!".
