How many people here actually listen to Chapo Traphouse? I listen on occasion when I don't have another podcast to listen to.
That’s the one with Nima Shirazi and Adam Johnson, right? There are 2 new news briefs I haven’t listened to yet.
Used to listen, fell off about a year before Matt had his stroke.
There's a reason ive used this as the
shitposting sub since main was taken from us and it's not because I believe there to be a widespread respect for the podcast, especially since citations needed is our official podcastThis does lead me to a separate question, why is the CTH comm's logo and banner a different podcast?
Fairly regular listener from about a year into its run, not as frequent now days. Still don't know what happened to Virgil, and I'm still not clear if Amber is part of the crew or not.
"Amber still gets a cut" is the most accepted theory as far as I know. She was on the 1000th episode too iirc
Functionally she retired in her early 30s and lives off podcast dividends for a show she barely bothered to show uo for. Livin' the dream.
you're not going to get many hexbear users to admit they listen to chapo. I do occasionally.
I dabbled in listening to snippets or specific episodes years ago when they got started. Their episode on white defensiveness was an example of white defensiveness so I stopped listening. They get so excited over owning the libs they don't think about people who aren't cishet WASPs.
Never listened to a single episode because I'm not a lib.
No, I only joined this community because I understood it to be communist or pretty leftist anyway. I'm an ignorant fool otherwise.
I listen every few weeks if something in a title catches my interest or they've got a good guest. I'll listen to Matt and Chris's Hell pods any time day or night, though
