    Water Park

It's starting to feel like Summer! The water park near our home has opened for the season and we went for the first time today. Even though it was 80 degrees outside the water was still pretty cold. Allen really didn't seem to mind. In fact, he kept running around laughing his forced little laugh that I think makes him sound crazy (it's something like, "Ha haha ha!"). He was so brave too. He went down the slide all by himself and would chase after older kids through the toys that spray water. Brad and I were both impressed by how bold he was.

I can't believe he can climb these stairs now. Last year he couldn't climb them or slide on the slides (we had to hold onto him all the way down the baby slides).

This water was the coldest! I can't believe how many times he went down the slide having to be immersed at the end.

Allen tried to jump off these stairs right into the water. I'm tellin' you...he was being very brave. Kind of scary for me. My baby is becoming so independent!

He liked this raft a lot. Daddy told him it was a boat...he was happy as pie!

And this is where he started getting very cold...turning blue actually. He cuddled with Daddy to stay warm and said, "okay" when we suggested going home. :)

I slipped in this picture of Allen with his new bat and ball set. Every time we attend a party or picnic where they have one of these he's glued to it. So we figured it was time for him to have one of his own. This is part of Logan College in the background. We took he and Karma up to the school yesterday to watch Heidi play sand-volleyball and get some energy out on the spacious field.

Just a note: I think it's pretty funny that I keep posting pictures of all of these fun activities. Someone mentioned to me that we must be a really busy and active family when it seems like the contrary has been the truth lately. I think it's that I feel so guilty for keeping my 2 year old cooped up in a single wide trailer most days that we purposefully take him out to do special activities (even if they only last for 1/2 hour or so). I haven't been extremely mobile lately so hopefully that will improve after the baby arrives and I can actually take Allen to do activities that aren't guilt-driven. :) Enjoy!

    Sky Zone

Today we took Allen to Sky Zone and let him release some chi. This was his first time on the trampolines. He had fun, although we think he would have a blast if we went with some of his little friends. Sky Zone has a special toddler area and it's only $5 per half hour. Anyone want to go? Give us a call!

Adults aren't aloud to jump in the toddler area. It was sad because Allen kept asking Brad to jump with him and he had to say no.

    Memorial Day and Misc

This Memorial Day we attended our ward's annual picnic. We all had a lot of fun, especially Allen who had his first real encounter with mud. I posted a lot of pictures of him all messy because I thought it was really very cute. And the date stamp was off on our camera...I fixed it.

He enjoyed getting clean as much as he did getting messy.

Even though the sun wasn't out it was a very humid day.

And this is how he went home...practically naked. He fell right asleep as we left the park.

It is a rare sight when Allen and Karma are together and calm. Usually one of them bugs the other till I have to separate them. This day they watched a movie together...for a while.

Ahh sleep! So we've had some issues with Allen staying in his bed. Which is pretty funny because it's not like we just transitioned him to a toddler bed. He's been sleeping in there fine since last Fall. However, recently he's decided that he wants the door open to go to sleep. That worked great for a week or two. Now, he won't go to sleep unless the door is open (really, he'll just scream for 2 hours if we close it) and he's been getting out of his bed a lot. Any suggestions?

This is how we found him the other morning. Apparently he fell asleep while deciding he'd better just get back in bed.

And this is how we found him the other night before we went to bed...asleep in his doorway. We knew he was there but both Brad and I were too exhausted to continue the battle and force him back to bed.

In other news, I'm still pregnant! :) We are actually OK with it. My official due date was May 23rd. Heidi was out of town in Ohio the entire weekend and she really didn't want to miss the birth. So, we're happy we made it through the weekend. Now my Mom comes to town on June 3rd and we all think it would be nice to have her here when the baby arrives. We'll see!

    Belly Pictures!

My friend, Li, took these maternity photos for us. She is an amazing photographer/card-maker. Check out her site: http://forevercards.blogspot.com/. Thanks Li!

    2 Years Old!

Such a handsome boy! We figured it was time for Allen to have one more round of photos taken before a sibling joins the mix.

This is actually how 198 of the 200 photos taken turned out...with a scowl! Allen gets that from his Daddy--really, we have lots of Bradley baby pictures with scowls. :)

    American Boy!

This is Allen's first experience with a popsicle. The ice cream truck drove by and Daddy bought it for him.

He was a little disappointed that he couldn't bite it because it was so cold.

This is Allen's little buddy, Dominic.

We took Allen to a field the other day to fly kites. He did such a good job flying his Elmo kite all by himself.

This is Daddy's kite. Allen would run and get it whenever it crashed.

This is the face we get from him when we tell him to, "say cheese".
