i got my progesterone dose upped to 200mg per day, which means i have two pills to take every day. im wondering if i should take one in the morning and one at night, or stick with taking both at night. do y’all have thoughts?

If I had to guess, and this is not medical advice, but taking them both at once would lead to stronger results for a shorter period, while splitting them would give a consistent effect over the whole day

Not sure of it really makes any difference. I did read something that progesterone may be more effective if taken before bed rather than the morning so I always did that. And when I up-dosed from 100-200 and used 2 of the 100s I already had, I took both at night. Now I have 200mg pills, so not relevant anymore, but just my approach.
yeah i was kind of expecting to get 200mg pills but they just gave me twice as many 100mg pills. i think ill just stick to taking them at night cause its way easier.
i think it makes barely any difference, biologically. hormones stay in the bloodstream for weeks so it makes no difference whether you take them 12 hours later. you will still have enough hormones from yesterday.
but it’s more convenient for me to take them in the evening. it often makes me tingle for 30 minutes and i like to enjoy and relax during that time.
I would take them both at night. I’m not sure how much of a difference itll make though. Thats just how ive always taken it.
i think thats what ill stick with too. no one seems to have any strong opinions about splitting it up.
