A couple years ago (? damn is hard to keep the time on these things) they had this awesome case of deploying drones from trucks that drove into russia.

It’s much harder to control their production, though. They don’t need enriched uranium and huge facilities, you can put them together in your bedroom (not at scale, obv.)

Haven’t played Unciv, how does it compare to Freeciv? If I see correctly, Freeciv is much closer to the original game, while Unciv tries to add some more “fun” features?

Oh man, this brings back memories. Used to play it in multiplayer with a couple of friends a lot at some point. Very well crafted, balanced game. The graphics are beautiful.

I’m sorry yeah, not sure which calendar program it was, then. Perhaps it was Davx5 + another calendar program. I tried a few, and several had issues with full-day events. (the events themselves seemed fine in the ical)

Been using Radicale for a few months now, I’m really happy with it. Granted, it’s not the fastest with large scale updates (which don’t seem to be OP’s use case). On Android I settled on One Calendar. Tried a few other apps, including DAVx5, which had issues, I think with full day events showing wrong.

I thought the same before I saw the plates. It’s everyday reality here 🥲

Svg support is also native, which is great for certain applications.

It’s such a fun game, always “maximizes narrative”, as it says.

Similar genre: Necesse. It looks a bit ugly, but also very enjoyable.

We jad a junior to train while we all WFH, but he was a very receptive and smart guy, so it was kind of easy. The last stage of code review, we would go through all changes together in a meeting. I would explain the reasons something may be a bad idea (e.g. harder to maintain later on). Other things were also handled in meetings, so i didn’t feel it too different from what I’d do in the office, such as designs/whiteboarding.

This does require enough capacity from seniors, though.

In short, it can work, though some people may prefer face to face contact, and the organization/availability has to allow for some hand holding.

Oh yes, forgot to mention that. I don’t like okra, but it is very popular in this recipe.

I don’t really have the space for an extra oven (unless my wife wins over and throws away the air fryer). My friend got a wood fired furnace at his house, and the pizzas were sublime.

In emacs, there is http mode, and you can have http code blocks straight in an org mode document, it’s amazing. And it works with the overall org babel system, so variables can come from other blocks, potentially in different languages.

I have a slighly newer Era. I love it. In fact its one of the first items I pack.

I agree in principle, but shit happens, e.g. scheduling conflicts. In smaller organizations, sometimes it’s the only way to unblock the team.

Anyway, I could think of also checking out my personal servers.
