~Scriptures~

I just feel like I should post this. Yesterday was a great Sunday, Paul and I went to our missionary meeting before church. They gave us a list of people they would like us to visit. So we thought that we would just start on our list right after the meeting, the first home no one came to the door, I told Paul I bet they are still in bed, it was 10:45am. He thought I was crazy and we went on to the next home, and they came to the door but.... They had just woke up and look at us like we were crazy. This gave me a little idea what it would be like to be a real missionary.

Church was great and so was the rest of the day, right before we went to bed Paul and I read a chapter the BOM. We were reading Alma 36. And one verse really stood out to me, it is Alma 36:3
3
And now, O my son Helaman, behold, thou art in thy youth, and therefore, I beseech of thee that thou wilt hear my words and learn of me; for I do know that whosoever shall put their atrust in God shall be supported in their btrials, and their troubles, and their afflictions, and shall be clifted up at the last day.

This verse brought me to tears. I just think that it is really important for us to know that God loves all of us and he always is there for us. Sometimes life can be really hard but if you read the bold part again it lets us know that God will lift us up and take care of us.

~This past week~

I will try later to put up some more pictures, my computer is taking forever!

This past week I a have been all over the place. On Thursday Paul call me letting me know that he got hurt at work. He was unloading a truck and when he was getting down fell and part of his body went under the truck hurting his leg and then he had some copper pipe fall on his back. I always worry about him at work, he always says he is fine until I see him at home and know that he is really in more pain then he is letting on.
That night Paul went to his families house and met up with his little bro and his Dad and the went hiking down in Arches, I really did not want to be home by myself so I packed up and went to Idaho to spend some time with my family.
Friday was so much fun, I talked with my mom all day and then Sammy came over with Carson and we played until it was time for my Dads Football game. We drove to the game together and Carson and I both had Chases number 7 on!
The game was a really good game but they did not win, but I do need to say GOOD JOB on a great season and good job getting 3rd in the state!

Last night my job took Paul and I out to dinner we went to Teppanyaki restaurant it was so good and fun to get out of the house!!

~How would I feel?~

Last night Paul and I thought that we would start our Christmas shopping. We started our night out by going from store to store mostly just looking, and wishing I was not so cheap. :) At the last store we had just got in line to pay when I see this woman run up to the front asking people if they had seen her little boy. No one had seen him and the people upfront were so dumb, they did not even act like they cared. As soon as I saw that lady's face I knew she was scared, so I told her I would help find her little boy who was only 2. I started to walk around the store looking under the clothes racks, looking by the books or the toys anywhere that I thought a kid would be playing.
I came back to the front and saw the lady still looking for her little boy and this time she was in tears. I told her that we would keep helping her find her child. ( the whole time the people at the store did nothing.) I asked Paul if he would go look in the boys bathroom.
At this time we had been looking for about 10 min and I thought WE need to find this kid, and why the heck is no one else looking. I kept thinking what if that was my child and I could not find him and know one would help. I just kept thinking how helpless I would feel and what thoughts would be going through my mind.
Paul came back and let us know that there was no one in the bathrooms, so we just kept looking I was walking past the dressing rooms and saw 2 lady's that did not speak any English. Lucky for me I have lived in so many different places where people don't understand me I am really good and charades, and I asked the lady's if they had seen a small boy and they pointed to the rooms. I looked in and I saw a small boy in the corner and he would not move, I yelled for his mom and I told her to call for him. As soon as he heard her voice he ran to open the door. :) :)
As soon as that door opened the mom just grabbed her little boy and hugged him and kissed him and was crying so hard. My heart just sunk and I thought I was going to start crying with her. I kept thinking if I had kids I am sure I would understand more what she was going through and I am for sure I would have been in tears.
She just kept thanking Paul and I for helping find her little boy.
I just want to say, think what you would do or how you would feel if is was you. If your able, always help when you can, and for those of you with kids remember how much you love them and make sure they know it, because you never know what will happen each day!!! SHARE THE LOVE!
