Let me start off by saying that I love dachshunds. I want one. Always have for some reason. And when I get him, his name will be Frank. Frank doesn't know it yet, but I've already got big plans for him.

One of them may be be to hook him up with an automatic fetching machine like Jerry's.

Jerry is one lucky dachshund. His human daddy spent two years building this automatic fetching machine -- and look how fun it is! And how cool of Jerry to learn how to use it?!

Silly Fun: Build a Squid!

Got a few minutes to waste? Build a squid!

I'm not exactly sure what the point of this thing is, but it's a delightful find. To make your squid, you get to pick everything from its body shape and color to its eyeball googliness. Then you give him a nice squishy squid name (I named mine Squishy in a feverish bout of unoriginality) and set him free!

Then you can come back whenever to check up on your squid and see what he's been up to. It's cute, in a who-thinks-of-these-things kind of way.

Finally! A Tax Break for Pet Owners

I got this in an email last week and it just cracked me right up.

The formula to calculate your pet tax refund is perfect and priceless, even figuring in a "Snookums Tax" (the number of nicknames you have for your pet) and a "Piranha Credit" for the number of other household pets your pet has destroyed (if lizards and bugs were considered household pets, Pimp would make me a millionaire!).

I so wish this was real. I filled it out for fun and, according to my calculations, I should be getting a $6,290 refund...

Now, I don't so much use the IE, but if you do dabble in Internet Explorer, this will make you happy to surf around -- a cute little kitty staring at you all day!

All of the sudden, browsing is fun again!

How boring is your Internet browser? Look up there, at your back, forward and refresh buttons. What do you see? Kitty cats?! No... but I do!

I'm passing this on because I LOVE it. It's a cat theme you can download if you use Firefox as your browser (and if you don't use it, you can get that for free, too.) Anywhos, it's KITTIES! And they play with balls while your page loads, and a fishbowl shows up on the tab while it's coming up and even when a Web site is not found, it's still cute -- because paw prints show up instead of bullets on the list of reasons you went wrong.

Seriously, this could be your Internet... Too cute!
