A raucous bunch of kittens gets their very own song written about them!
Gonna bite you on the ear,
Gonna bite you on the rear!
And more like that. It's all very poetic, really, and very silly! Happy Friday, everyone!
P.S. Don't forget to check out my Santa Paws Drive if you haven't already! We're sending toys and treats to shelter kitties and doggies all over the world. Can you spare a few dollars to help us make sure every single one gets a present? http://www.santapawsdrive.com
Oh nothing to see here... just a silly sloth tinkering away on an invisible piano.
I'm honestly a little disappointed in the other sloths in his "band." Seems like one of them could have at least kicked in with a sweet air guitar riff or two.
Kodi has the magic touch when it comes to the playing the piano with his paws. He and his daddy have been working very hard at this delicate duet, and now they are here to perform it for you!
It was bound to happen eventually... and leave it to Shorty the cat to be the one to do it. Finally someone made a good Harlem Shake cat video!
Have you seen these Harlem Shake videos going around? I have no idea why their so funny, but all kinds of people and companies even are making them -- and now there is finally a Harlem Shake cat version!
P.S. If you haven't seen these Harlem Shake videos yet, do a quick search on Youtube (and prepare to waste at least 30 minutes of your life). I have no idea why they're so funny, but I giggle at each one! It's the silliest meme going on right now.
With a talented daddy playing backup guitar, this pretty kitty meows out a few bars of the blues -- but only when the music stops playing, so you can hear her beautiful voice uninterrupted, of course.
Better than any big-name DJ out there, this fuzzball kitten takes his paw to his favorite Bob Marley vinyl record to mix things up a little bit.
Thing is, as he's scratching, it's him that ends up getting all mixed up. Just when we think he has it mastered, round and round he goes...
Big thanks to Cutehead Sonya S. for sharing this cute Vinyl Cat video with us!
NOTE FROM CUTE: Senior sisters Sera and Chloe who were dumped at animal control are still looking for a forever home. Please take a moment to read their story and share it. Thank you!
A group of five men serenaded a herd of cows by playing a few jazz tunes. At first, there were only a few cows interested, but as the men kept playing, the cows kept coming over... until they were all lined up and listening to intently to their own private concert!
Apparently, these guys play jazz for cows all the time. You can check out more of their songs at jazzforcows.com.
Thanks to Cute's fab friend, Nicole, for sharing this jazz for cows video with us!
Introducing the newest blues duo in town! With a tiny toddler on the harmonica and a big bloodhound dog doing the vocals, this pair is certain to hit the big-time any day now.
That is, of course, unless the neighbors shut down their show first.
Dogs have a good sense of hearing, and apparently good taste in music. See how this golden retriever bobs her head while the music is playing, but when it stops, she suddenly does, too.
And the face! Like, hey... keep jammin'!
Thanks to Cute's Facebook friend, Rebecca, for sharing this cute golden retriever likes guitar video with us!
Sometimes when you hear a pretty melody, you just have to sing along. When this kitty hears the flute, he chimes in with his own lovely kitty voice -- and together they make sweet mewsic.
Plus, you know he's singing really great because his lips quiver like Whitney Houston's in "I Will Always Love You." That's some serious singing.
Mylo is just a cat... and he's doing cat stuff. What!
Mylo has a Facebook page, too, if you want to keep track of all the cat stuff he does. You can follow him here.
P.S. In the last couple seconds of Mylo's video, there is a little bit of a bad word. Last couple seconds. So cover young kitten's ears before that. ;) That's it though. The rest is totally safe and silly!
Fritz the kitten is putting on an impressive little dancing frenzy here!
He found the randomest thing to be his dancing partner, too -- a die (as in one of a pair of dice)! The music is what really puts this video over the top. Perfect!
P.S. Here are the giveaways we have going on right now if you want to enter:
-- Huge, fluffy cat bed from Luna's Apawthecary - enter here. -- "Crafting with Cat Hair" book - enter here.
Next time I have a party, I'm hiring these kittens to DJ. I'll pay them in treats and tuna, and I'm sure that'll be fine with them.
Then we can all watch the kitties spin! And by spin, I don't mean just spinning beats... I mean literally spinning around and around on the turntables.
Dilla the cat is the next big up and coming DJ! See how she uses her turntable skills to make this Billie Holiday album all modern and stuff? Just the right amount of claw and paw to make the music right.
A little scratch here... A little slow down there... Dilla knows her stuff!
Hey, you can't just jump right into being Keyboard Cat... You have to start somewhere! That's why this kitty is paw-tapping a sweet little tune on his baby human brother's keyboard toy.
Snooky the cat has no idea what to make of her mom's metronome. She's bopping along in perfect time, so she has the keeping in beat part down, but she's still not sure what to make of the thing...
And what does a cat do when they're not sure? Go in for the kill.
Update from Cute: So, like I mentioned yesterday, I ran my marathon yesterday morning. I finished, which is the good news, with a respectable time of 4:44. But I just about killed me knee. It decided to become destroyed around mile 16 and I hobbled all the way to 26.2! Am happy I finished, but it was a killer. Thanks for all the support! Going to take a little break before trying another super long race for sure. :)
