P.S. Does anyone have an Undercover Mouse or Bolt toy or some other interactive kitty toy they don't want or their kitties don't use anymore? Phantom does not get tired ever ever ever, and I want him to have something to play with when I need to do other things. Figured I'd ask if anyone had one lying around before I go buy him a bunch of expensive toys. Let me know or email me! Thanks, Cuteheads!

Transport Day: 5 "Big Bang" Kittens (Please Help Us Sponsor Them!) #5nuggets
It's transport day again! The most wonderful kind of day! Today we have five adorable little nuggets heading up to Springfield, Illinois from South Florida -- all saved from animal control!
These too-cute-for-words five kittens are all named after Big Bang Theory characters. They are heading up to Forever Home Feline Ranch where they will find their forever homes. Thank you to the Ranch for helping us save them! Without their agreeing to help, these babies probably wouldn't be with us anymore. Yay for rescue!
Let's meet them, shall we? (We need a little help funding these babies, so please scroll to the bottom if you can chip in for the fundraiser.)
The 5-Piece Nuggets, as we've been calling them, were originally six. Unfortunately one of the siblings didn't make it, but the other five are perfect, adorable, healthy, well-mannered, super sweet and just going to make the best family members for some lucky adopters!
They slept at my house last night, since I'm the first driver of the transport this morning. We had an absolute blast! Kittens are so silly.
Moo greeted them when they arrived at our house. He was not the most welcoming host though... he actually hissed a little. Come on, Moo.

These babies are the last of a bunch of kittens we've had scheduled for transports -- three transport weekends in a row! And now that they are all safe, it's time to square up with our vet.
We can do these transports only thanks to donations, and thanks to our rescue partners (especially our partner here, Good Karma Pet Rescue!) who make sure all the kitties are vetted, vaccinated, tested, speutered and each is required to get a health certificate to travel. We do get great rescue rates, but when you are saving so many kitties, it does add up!
We want to keep saving kitties, but we need some help. I've set up a donation page to help with the costs for all these babies that have gone. It is not all that we have spent, but it's definitely a help. Anything we raise above this will go to saving and vetting future transport kitties (and there WILL be more!).
The estimated breakdown of some of our costs (these costs are approximate, and probably low):
Speutering - $35 if we go to our low-cost place
Vaccinating/vet visits - estimate $20 per kitty
Testing - $15 per kitty
Health certificate per kitty - $15
Supplies per transport - $40 to $50
So far this year we have transported 186 kitties! Imagine how much we've spent. But it's all way worth it, of course!
So if you can spare a few dollars, we'd definitely appreciate it. The money we raise will go to Good Karma and Forever Home Feline Ranch. If not, please share so your friends might -- and just to spread the word about our transports! And no matter what, let's cheer these 5 nuggets on as they head on their journey home!

Momma Cat Teaches Kitten How to Drink Water
There is a big bowl of water, but getting the hang of it isn't as easy as you'd think, apparently. In fact, at first chin dip it seems like it can be quite confusing for a kitten!
Why is my face wet? Should I lick it off my face? Should I go in for more? Clean up before dunking again?
Good thing momma is there to set a good example!

It's Transport Day: 4 "Cheese" Kittens Heading to Texas! #CheeseCatsCaravan
Brie, Blue, Cheddar and Gorgonzola were found by Cutehead Donna D. with their mom, Princess Izzy. She took them all in and decided to keep Izzy, but couldn't keep all her kittens. After a long search all over to find a rescue to take them, fellow Cutehead Robin B. stepped up to take the babies in and help them find their forever homes!
Only one thing... Robin lives in San Antonio, Texas -- so they asked if we could help! And, of course, Cuteheads are happy to come to the rescue and help give some pretty kitties a ride!

It was a couple weeks of working hard to find all their drivers, but we are officially on the road today!
And then, guess what? When it got around that we were going this route, it turns out a pretty black kitty named Daisy needed a ride along the same route... so she is hitchhiking with the Cheese Kittens! We are driving Miss Daisy!
Daisy is going to her forever home about an hour east of Montgomery, AL. She is a lucky girl!

A great Twitter friend for many years, who helped and shared and supported so many kitties in need, was shockingly killed by two dogs this week. @DashKitten was a friend to many, and a longtime friend of Cute. One of our drivers, Brian F., had the idea to dedicate his leg of this transport to Dash, and I thought that was a wonderful gesture -- so I said I'd tweet using that hashtag also. Our hearts go out to Dash's mom, Marjorie (@whskr), at this sad time. Hopefully these kittens we are transporting will have long, happy, wonderful lives in his memory!

Cute Kitten Ear Wiggles (and a Transport Need!)
Synchronized Ear Wiggles is one sport this adorable bunch of tabbies would surely excel in!
When they belly up to the milk bar, they are so happy with their meal that their little ears just start dancing... all of them!
P.S. We have a transport this weekend and we just need TWO legs filled! Is anyone in or near these areas? Can you help? If so, please fill out our volunteer driver form! If not, please share with your friends in case they know someone!
There are 5 kittens heading home. Two carriers, so they fit in any car!
These are the legs we need:
SATURDAY, SEPT. 7

Upside Down Kitten Makes Sleepy Biscuits

Three Piglet Kittens
This little kitty went to sleep. This little kitty meowed a little bit. And this little kitty tried to climb of her bed and go mew mew mew mew, all the way back to mom!
Does anyone know what kind of beds these piggies are? So cute! I wonder if they are just for kittens or if they are actually for something else? I love them!

Silly Kittens Learn to Play Pool!
Rocky, Rio and Ruby are regular pool sharks! Or, at least they maybe will be with a little bit of practice.
I've never thought of it before, but a pool table with lots of balls must be like a kitty toy heaven! All those balls to paw around and off the little cliffs into holes... Fun!

Sleeping Dancing Kittens
Tiny kittens tend to make the cutest little dancing movements in their sleep!
A tapping toe, a twitching tail, a few ear flicks -- all make for the most adorable little sleeping dancing kittens!
NOTE FROM CUTE: Guess what? We're working on another transport for this weekend! This time there are nine kitties being saved from Gaston County animal shelter in Dallas, NC and heading up to rescues in Harrisburg, PA! We need a couple legs filled, if anyone is available:
