I've Been Hiding Out in the Studio...

My Etsy shop was in dire need  of filling.
My cards had run out at a local shop and needed refilling.
I was asked to participate in a holiday gift shop in November
So I had to get busy making cards, bookmarks, gift tags and
gift card holders, etc.
So that's where I have been.
Today I woke up to the sound of rain.
I proceeded to do the happy dance as it has been
well over 95 days since we have had rain.
I hope it pours and puts out all the horrendous
wild fires we have been having. I know my trees
are loving it as they have suffered.
Well I think I shall take a nap and then continue
on in the studio. But my brain needs a rest.
Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!

Painting Tags

When it rains and rains and rains
I paint tags.
They
cheer
me up.
It's always a nice added touch to  a gift .
They say the sun will come out tomorrow...
I certainly hope so and maybe I'll see
a rainbow.

Just adding some finishing touches to these gift cards.
Thank You cards.
and
a birthday card. (NO CALORIES HERE)
I am refilling my Etsy shop. This is a "good thing".
Especially with a very rainy day outside my studio window.
Hope wherever you are that the sun is shining.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Peeking out my studio window as I work ....
We have had one storm after another.
Friday night they closed Snoqualmie Pass
as it was snowing hard. My son was trying to
come home and ended up staying with friends
until Saturday. Mt. Si which I look at from the
living room had snow half way down. I am not
ready for this. I still have gardening to do....
Oh well back to painting gift tags

Maybe the sun will come back tomorrow
MAYBE!

A Little Nature and A Lot of Glue......

I have been having fun! Diane Knott was making these little tags
with tiny envelopes on them . I was hooked  to try some. Now Diane's are
very different from what I did. I love her tags ,you must go peak!!
I wanted to do a nature type theme and it just kept growing and
growing.... you get the drift. The above is the front. The little tags in the picture
are a To: and From: tag with some little beads I made that attach to the main tag.
Whew are you still with me....
This is what I call the back of the tag with the
little decorated envelope attached.
You can add a tiny gift (charms, earrings, set of sewing needles,
or as Diane says tickets to Paris) whatever you like.
You could just have it as decoration too!
Anyway this is one little project that I got hooked on. LOL
Thanks a lot Diane......!!!!
