So here's some insider information. *wink* Behind the scenes commercials are called spots and the businesses and organizations that pay for them are called underwriters.  Commercials are one way a station pays for overhead on their programming. National Radio Day As it so happens I work behind the scenes for a radio station.  I never would have guessed but here I am. I've been here for a little over two years and I'm still woefully ignorant about radio but I'm learning. In April we observed World Malaria Day and that day is so similar to this one because the mosquito is how one contracts malaria that I won't repeat a bunch of information here but simply encourage you once again to partner with an organization ( Bite Back , Nothing but Nets ) and help provide malaria medication and nets to countries in need. International Juggler's Day (also applies to multi tasking office workers) Later on this year we observe World Juggler's Day which is the same, really, as International Juggler's Day.  So today I'm going outside the literal box and talk about juggling life, tasks, etc. Is all that juggling good for your happy health? Feeling Overwhelmed? When it comes to juggling your relationships and your life it isn't as fun to watch or do as juggling with props.  Life Juggling isn't recommended, the balls that drop could have a damaging impact.
