Sky high

Our friends, Savannah and Hailey, had the craziest birthday party ever.  It was a lot of fun!

Their party was at a local place called Sky high and my kids are now in love.  It is in this huge warehouse that is covered wall to wall with huge trampolines.  The kids went ballistic for 2 hours jumping til they were exhausted. That is, they jumped AFTER we signed the waiver saying we wouldn't sue if they broke an arm, leg, sternum or fractured eye sockets, hips, or jaws and that if they died we'd be responsible, not them.  Yep, we signed that sucker and away they went.

Remarkably no one walked away injured and Jason and I are in cahoots with a few of our friends to go back for a big ol' group date-no kids invited. Pretty sure someone will walk away broken then.  Oh well.  It's all for the love of the game!

Ward Dash

Remember last fall when Jason and I ran the Warrior Dash with a bunch of our friends?  Remember how much fun we had?  Well.  A bunch of the guys in the ward decided to re-create the Warrior Dash and re-named it the Ward Dash.  This last Saturday was the big race and it was a blast.  Really, it couldn't have turned out better.

We ran over cars, through tunnels, through creeks and so much more. There was hills, mud, water balloons, and FUN!  Jason and the other guys who put it together did such a great job.

 And then it was the kids turn.  They did the race last night and oh goodness did they love it and boy did they come out muddy!

The course was over a mile and they ran the entire thing....TWICE!

They are amazing.

 I look mighty clean here but this is after I spent 10 minutes hosing down.

I am so happy my kiddos have fun playing hard.

I think this should become a yearly race.  Anyone want to join in?

Alrighty, here's the deal

 I just blogged pretty much the whole month of June and oh my goodness I am never, ever, ever getting that far behind again.  Ever.  So everything is backdated to when it happened.  Happy reading!

Dear Jamjam,

Just to cure your boredom of my blog here is a pickey-poo of your mother enjoying her favorite person's (me) children.

As you can plainly see, they are enjoying the best food on earth.  Frozen yogurt.  At Devine Yogurt.  In AMERICA.  Why you gotta be a traitor and live where the Queen of England is on the money?  Huh?  Answer me.

Until I get an answer I can not support your habit of my blog.
