Christmas Eve 2009

Christmas Eve was a busy-ish day for us. We celebrated my 31st Bday, cleaned the house, built a gingerbread house, and prepared for Christina's appearance!

Chad made the traditional strawberry cake...it was (as always) yummy!

After my celebration the kids got to open two gifts. The first was PJ's.

(This was the only semi-not-blurred photo.)

(Christina was arrived by then!)

Then we opened ornaments from Mimi and PopPop.

The boys liked them but Erin was sooooo excited!

The Birthday Du Jour

Today Grey turned 10!!!

Among other things, he got a Nerf gun that changes into 2 or 3 different types of guns.
He was excited.

We had cake (our 3rd in as many weeks).

Isn't he handsome!

A few days ago Chad and Erin and Lance were playing with the camera and they took some funny photos:

Lance lost another tooth in case you couldn't tell!

We had a sticking snow...several inches (like 12 or 14). During and After:

Our own Stay-Puff Marshmallow Girl (in Daddy's gloves).

Yes, her jacket is dirty...I'll wash it...soon...ish...

Erin and the Grinch

Chad told Erin the story of the Grinch who stole Christmas and she LOVES it. Here is her retelling the story.

Birthdays, Snow, Flowers and Forts

Hmmmmm.... I hate change for no good reason.
This is a new version of Blogger so we'll see
how this works out.

OK, here is the Thanksgiving centerpiece we did in my Floral Design class a few weeks ago. We had a good Tksgiving. Tons of really good food and then laying around in a stupor.
Good Times.

That evening the kids built a fort in the kitchen.

We've now had our first snow or two of the season. Beautiful!

Miss Erin turned 4!! She got several gifts but the best by far was a new bike!!!

We put up the Christmas tree on December 2nd.

Then the next day Lance had his 7th birthday! He got the usual Bionicles and a few other things. He blew out the candles on his cake one at a time.

Lance had a pair of teeth pulled to make room for a new one. Grey's birthday is coming up. My class has ended. And we're getting ready for Christmas! That gets ya all caught up!
Til next time!!

Long Time No See

It seems Blogger is not letting me arrange my pictures again (this is getting frustrating, is anyone else having this problem?). So first is a picture of the vase arrangement we did in class 2 weeks ago.

Tuesday night was literacy night at our school and we had story time and snacks and Grey was one of the narrators of the skit! It was alot of fun!

I would like to thank Kriszti (from Budapest, Hungary) for the beautiful stitching I received in the mail a week ago. I'm sorry for not posting about it! The Stitching Angel's project this year was themed 'roses' and Kriszti did a beautiful job! Thank You!!

All Hallows Eve 2009

OK, for some reason blogger is not letting me arrange photos so you're just gonna have to look at them in the order they loaded! Above is the candy trade and below is the trick - or - treating.

Grey told Chad that our Halloween decorations were not scary enough so they came up with a few additions on the night of. They added tombstones and a hanging ghost.
