Last week was Spring Break, so we decided to take a few days and go to Ft. Worth. We had never been to the zoo before and knew a great hotel with an indoor, kid-friendly pool. It was a fun little get-away. The zoo was great--perfect weather and lots of people! The highlight of our day was when Charlie accidentally dropped his watch into the kangaroo exhibit. It was at least six feet below us, so we went to the nearest worker and they said they could get it at the end of the day and mail it to us. Bob decided to take matters into his own hands and so we each grabbed one of Rex's legs and lowered him in the exhibit and he grabbed it. Rex said, "That was like mission impossible!" Charlie was excited to have his watch back and the kangaroos never even looked our way...
