December was a great month! Lots of parties and fun times. We spent our first Christmas in Pagosa Springs, Colorado with Bob's parents. I had never seen so much snow in my life!! The boys had fun sledding, snow mobiling and eating snow.
Charlie turned 8 and was baptized on Saturday, Dec. 19! It was a very special day and we are so proud of Charlie for being such a great boy. We sure love this kid!
Bob has worked so hard for the last few months to train for this Half Ironman. It was 70.3 miles of swimming, biking, and running in Lubbock. He finished in 5 hours and 35 minutes. He was happy with his time and had a great race! I am so proud of him. It was a rough week emotionally for our family--we found out Wednesday that my pregnancy was an ectopic pregnancy (the baby was growing in fallopian tube) and had surgery Thursday morning. It wasn't the most ideal few days leading up to a huge race and I'm so proud of him for taking care of me, the boys, and still do this race. He even went early to the race that morning to haul a cooler and camping chairs for me so I didn't have to carry anything. He amazes me and I love him so much... We had some great friends come down from Montana for the race too! Five hours waiting went by super fast with great friends to play with. It was a great weekend and I'm really glad I decided to go!
This sweet baby boy is 4 years old today! This kid loves superheros and being with his brothers ("the boys"). He loves to ride bikes and play soccer and is the best fan during his brothers soccer games. He loves to swim and loves yogurt, fruit snacks, pizza, and pickles! We love this boy a lot.
I got to take a quick trip to California a few weeks ago to visit Morgan and to see Newsies! It was a great little trip and we also timed it so we could see Holly and Kailey in San Diego while they were in town also! The production of Newsies was AMAZING and we had so much fun in downtown LA (crazy 5 lanes of traffic and homeless people everywhere had me scared for my life) and I had a fabulous time with my sister and her fam. Great trip!
