Getting Ready for the Christmas Season

To get ready for Christmas we decorated our Christmas tree and took Addison to see Santa Claus for the first time. We also celebrated Addison's first St. Nick's day. She got two new pacifiers and a book!

She wanted to be involved instead of watching from her boppy:)

Addison got many new Christmas ornaments. The one behind her is a pink baby bottle with all the important things from when she was born...name-date-weight-length

Annual Christmas Tree Cutting

We left the house on Friday morning after Thanksgiving and headed to the Hen House for breakfast. After breakfast we went to the tree farm. When we got there we bundled Addison up in her snowsuit that she borrowed from Molly and headed out to find our Christmas tree.

Nice and snuggly warm!

It was a great day spent with family!!!

Mommy's Birthday

What a wonderful birthday it was this year! I was blessed to spend all day with the best present that I have ever received...my precious little girl. We spent part of the day at Auntie Rachel's with her and Molly and then we went to dinner with Roger at the Cheesecake Factory. Addison slept through the entire dinner which allowed Roger and I to have a very nice dinner together.

First meeting!!! Really they will be forever friends:)

Rachel and I and our beautiful daughters! A dream come true!

Molly Beth

On November 18th the world welcomed Molly Beth Duchac!!! Molly is the daughter of my best friend Rachel. We are looking forward to many years of memories with our beautiful little girls. I am so proud to be Molly's Auntie Nix and Godmother!!!

Addison and the Doctor

When Addison was born we noticed that she had loud breathing. After talking with our pediatrician we decided to see an ENT. Addison ended up having three different kinds of x-rays. Through all of it she was a trooper! What we have learned is that Addison has a " skinny throat." That means that when she breathes there isn't as much room in her throat as other babies so it makes a raspy sound. It isn't something that happens all the time, and in a year things will be normal. We thank God that she didn't have to have surgery.

At her first x-ray...she had to drink barium. The nurses were very impressed at how well she did.

At the ENT before they did the scopeAt her her last x-ray she even got to wear a gown.

Month 3

Addison's Third Month of Life
This month she has really shown her personality.
She loves to smile and stick her tongue out.
