I treated myself to a Kindle gift card this month so bought a bunch of ebooks and sailed through them
Board Resolution (Knights of the Boardroom #1) by Joey W. Hill was a free ebook from Amazon so I grabbed that and then had to re-read the next two stories in the series that are in the Laced with Desire and Unlaced anthologies.
Archangel's Storm (Archangel Book 5) by Nalini Singh - Got it from the library until I can buy a copy. Had been looking forward to Jason's story and was not disappointed. She was a different heroine and I really liked her. She is not a kickass heroine but has her own strength and inner steel from her past and has had to learn to pick her battles the hard way.
Full Disclosure by Dee Henderson - Love it, will post a longer review soon.
I read about 9 other ebooks as well. None that were awesome enough to mention though. Mostly freebies from Amazon.
Making great use of my library this month, I read:
Deliciously Sinful by Lilli Feisty
Desired by Nicola Cornick
Hush by Cherry Adair
Afterglow by Cherry Adair
Wicked Enchantment by Anya Bast
Cruel Enchantment by Anya Bast
Kiss the Dead (Anita Blake series) by Laurell K. Hamilton
Dark Enchantment by Anya Bast
No One Left to Tell by Karen Rose
Dark Enchantment by Anya Bast
Midnight Enchantment by Anya Bast
All very good books, I enjoyed them very much and it was a nice mix. A contemporary, historical, 3 contemporary suspense, a paranormal and then a fantasy series all in one month :) As well as more ebooks that I post at Goodreads (easier to keep track of there).
Sorry this post is so late, we were on vacation the last week in June and trying to be as unplugged as we could then when we returned found out that our internet was down. So did not get it back on until recently. Well June was mainly about finishing school, getting ready for summer and vacation so I did not do that much reading. And since I was also following the Digital First reading challenge, the majority of the books I read were ebook and posted on my goodreads page. Plus digital reading is much better for traveling (and makes for much lighter baggage :)
Captivated by Lauren Dane
Tangle of Need by Nalini Singh
Chaos Burning by Lauren Dane
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
All were great books!!
Re-reads

Seduce Me in Flames by Jacqueline Frank
Forget Me Not by Elizabeth Lowell (has been on my shelf for a loooong time) Did not realized I had not read it. I enjoyed it but it will not be a keeper for me, so it is also going to the UBS.
The Duke's Perfect Bride (Cameron Brothers Book 4) by Jennifer Ashley Love this quartet!
Heart of Darkness by Lauren Dane For some reason, I thought I had read this so had not picked it up. Apparently I had not, so I am glad I grabbed it. Thought it was very cool that the De la Vega cats and the Cascadia wolves were mentioned in this series so I may hope for some crossover later, maybe :)
Bear Meets Girl by Shelly Laurenston This series is so fun, the characters are just so over the top, it is very entertaining to read!
Celebrity in Death by JD Robb Good addition to the series. So surprised that I am still loving it after all of this time and the amount of books in it. Usually after about the 15th book I am looking for an end to it, but this one, not so much. :)

Pruella Takimori McGuire is the business manager for the beautiful courtesans of the Garden of Nocturnal Delights. She deals in numbers, not Magick, and when Erik turns his charms in her direction, she sees only vanity, not a golden gift. If Erik cannot use his power to win Prue's heart, how can he truly possess her?
And all the while, a far darker power corrupts the foundations of Caracole-the Necromancer, who feasts on souls. When the Necromancer's hired assassin kidnaps Prue, Erik must harness his air Magick to recover the woman he has come to love more than life itself. Labels: fantasy, magic
Not much going on here except writing letters and waiting to see about education budget cuts in my county. It looks like I am on a possible chopping block because i am still on annual contract. this was supposed to be my last year on it, funny how that works out. My school board has to cut $112 million dollars from its budget.
Promises in Death (In Death book ??) by JD Robb great addition to the series. we saw more personal life in this onethan the last. Lots of good lines and parts. One of my favorites was at the end in one the interview rooms when she told the person that they would have front row seats. (A)
The Spy Who Wants Me by Lucy Monroe Good read. Good characters, had one of my favorite hero types, the strong nerd. Not my favorite by her but I thought it was a nice solid read. (B-)
Reluctant Hearts (Dragon Riders 2) by Marty Rayne (e-book) apparently I did not review the first book. Good series so far. In this world dragons protect the people from bad guys and big bad beasties. Each dragon has a rider that they bond with (mentally, psychically and sometimes physically), if the dragon dies, they will die. If they are supposed to bond with a dragon and refuse it, they will go insane. The dragons however live very long lives and can have many riders in the course of their life. fun fantasy story. This one is MF the first book was MMF. (B-)
Point of Distraction (Book 2) by Cindy Jacks (e-book) review to come at Book Binge
Kiss of a Demon King (Immortals After Dark Book 6) by Kresley Cole Fun read, I had been looking forward to this book for a long time. great addition to the series. sabine was a very fun character to watch, she definitely had her own code of ethics, which is a nice change. (A-)
Speed Dating by Nancy Warren (e-book) This was one of the free e-books that harlequin was giving away for their anniversary. It was a sweet story. He mstakes her for his pretend girlfriend and she seems to be good luck fr him so asks her to travel the circuit with him until she starts her new job. They spend the next 12 weeks getting to know each other. they are a couple on camera and platonic friends off, but what do you do when one falls for the other one. Totally PG, they did not do anything until after the book was over. (B-)
Everlasting Bad Boys anthology by Shelley Laurenston, Cynthia Eden, Noelle MackThey're bad boys--with that little something extra. Sexy, wild, out-of-this-world talents that can leave any woman feeling weak at the knees (among other body parts), they're the ones to call when you want pleasure that lasts...and lasts...
"Can't Get Enough" by Shelly Laurenston: Even for a dragon, Ailean the Wicked has a bad reputation. For 150 years he's been renowned for his fighting prowess, but now he's got a new conquest in mind--a gorgeous dragoness known as Shalin the Innocent. Ailean suspects she's anything but. And while he's saving her from her enemies, he plans to prove that, even in human form, a bad-boy dragon can show a girl a good time that's truly off the scale...
"Spellbound" by Cynthia Eden: No witch in her right mind would summon an immortal soul-hunter to her aid, but Serena Tyme needs Luis D'Amil's help to destroy the warlock who's stalking her coven. And she's willing to pay any price he names...especially when the tall, dark, sexy-as-hell assassin shows her he can work some sensual magic of his own...
"Turn Me On" by Noelle Mack: Finally, Beth Danforth has found a man who can flip her switch. That's because supersexy Justin Watts, CEO of SpectraSign, is literally made of light. His dazzling, custom-built body can't ever wear out. And talk about energy--Beth can't get enough of the guy. The sex is electrifying. The love will never fade away...
The first story ("Can't Get Enough" by Shelly Laurenston) was about two dragon shifters in a fantasy world backdrop. I really enjoyed this one, but I love all her stuff. Great short story, fun, good storyline, good chemistry, good characters, very enjoyable read. Grade A
The second was Ms Eden's story, "Spellbound". I did not like this one as much, but it was a solid story. Grade B
The third story ("Turn Me On" by Noelle Mack) was my least favorite. I could not connect with the characters, they seemed very shallow. And I was not a big fan of the hero, he had no depth. He was good in bed and wealthy, but that was pretty much it. Grade D+ Labels: contemporary, magic, paranormal, shape-shifter

Thought: You know you are a book junkie when ... you buy your purses based on if you can fit a book into it. (I never buy a purse that I cannot fit a trade size book into.)
Returning to the Fading Lands with his Celierian truemate, Rain discovers a dissension among the most powerful members of his own council. As the Eld plot their next deadly strike, Ellysetta struggles to master her powerful magic and discover how to save the tairen, while Rain confronts open challenge to his rule and prepares to lead the Fey army to war.
I promised I would post this after my re-read of the first two books.
Great addition, I LOVE this series!! They finally travel to the Fading Lands and find that things are not exactly as they should be. Rain discovers somethings that have happened because of his near insanity. When he was not himself his power was given to the Counsel and now (like when the military takes power during a war) they do not want to give the power back over to Rain. They have gotten huge egos with all that power and do not want to give it up.
They also have a lot of suspicion about Elly and her Marks that she has and how safe she actually is, they do not trust her.
Elly starts working with the tairen trying to save them and discovers exactly what is happening to them, but does she have the power to save them.
Great story. I cannot wait for the next book to see what happens with the Mage War. And if Shan and his mate get rescued. Good stuff, June is too far away :( Labels: fantasy, magic, sidhe
