It's my birthday today!
I can't believe I'm 42.
Well I can, because I've thought that I was 42 most of this year.
But still 42 is old!
Where did my youth go?
Luke told me that I'm halfway thru my life.
That was kinda a bummer.
Does that mean it's all downhill from here?
Or uphill?
Smooth sailing would be most preferred!
Whether I'm 42 or 70, I need to be healthy and feel young
so I can keep up with my littles.
I'm about 10 year behind everyone else around these parts,
so health has turned into something really important to me.
I may not exercise as much as I should.
But I spent a heck a lot of money on vitamins
and drinking lotsa water and counting calories.
Plus I take ballet and tap.
And I know that counts!
Gotta stay fit and feel good.
So yeah, I'm 42!
And it was pretty much just a normal day like most days.
With a few exceptions 😉😉😉
The little boys and I went to Mountain Donuts for breakfast!
They LOVE Mtn Donuts, and as fattening as they are, I love them too!
It was funny because as we were ordering, Papa walked in the door!
He saw us pull up and bought the boys donuts.
My donut(s) were for work...I decided we'd do this instead of cake this year.

| Luke's donut looked amazing! |

| Adam put Gummi bears on his...of course! |

Me and my lovies after donuts. Today the didn't mind being 45 minutes late for school! |

At lunch, we got take-out from Cafe Rio! I ate SO much that I was pretty much sick the rest of the day. NOTE...I did NOT count my calories! But I skipped dinner to make up for it! (Photo above - me and Todd pigging out with sweet pork tostadas!) |

That evening was super relaxed. I was a total bum and didn't even cook dinner for my kiddos. I totally took advantage of being the birthday girl. Josh got off early and surprised me with inviting my close friends over for ice cream! Of course I made him tell me a few hours before, I love surprises, but not surprises surprises. If that makes any sense. It was SO sweet of him to do that for me! And I can't believe I didn't get a photo of him and me on my birthday! I'll make it up to him and take a pic of us on our date night this Friday (Sounds good babe?) I feel bad, because he did so much to make me feel special! He had gone shopping with Luke and they gave me the Incredibles 2 DVD, some super comfy cord pants, shoes, headphones and a GC to Downeast! WOot! Adam gave me his book of Pokemon cards, his favorite shiny rocks that he would trade with Luke, a wooden heart he colored with his name on it, and a doterra notepad from last year's convention. So sweet! Kids are the funnest! Luke REALLY wanted to buy me Avengers: Infinity War...but Josh talked him out of it. Any ideas WHY Luke wanted to get that movie for me so bad? He pretty much wanted to watch it again. LOL
OK! So the photo above is Katy Ostorga and me. |

And here is the rest of the big girls birthday party! (L-R: Bry Collard, Emily King Fox, ME, Joann Davis and Joann's baby girl Camille - isn't she cute?) OH! And I did get a photo of my honey who did this all for me! Josh's reflection is on the window. :) Thanks again honey for making me feel so special! I love you! And I love the beautiful cards you always pick out for me!
Thanks to my parents and siblings who reached out to me, And all of the facebook world for all the birthday posts. Also to those random friends who donated to Operation Underground Railroad for my birthday. That was seriously awesome (including you mom!!) We raised $122 for O.U.R.! Just because it was my birthday :) I am ONE LUCKY GIRL! |
