MLK weekend fun....

We went on a picnic to Tumble weed park. This place is so fun and has so much for all the kids to do. One of these days I will remember to take their bikes so Kamden doesn't steal all the other kids'. Kai, Gavin and Kamden all started climbing this rock. Kai and Gavin wimped out but not Kamden. He even posed for pictures. I don't know why Logan was not in this picture, but we are glad he came with us.

Then on MLK day we went with lots of friend up to Usary Park for a picnic and a hike. I kept telling everyone that Kai and Kamden could hike the mountain there with no problems and I was sure that everyone else's kids could also. Well we ended up letting them play to long on the playground while we were all visiting so by the time we went to go on our hike Kamden was way to tired and onory. We ended up just walking around the bottom carring Kamden while sreaming his head off the entire time. Ah...maybe next time he can show his hiking skills.

Brothers

This is a very rare occasion that all my boys play NiCEly together and for a long period of time. It just happened to be a Sunday and time to get ready for church. Justin and I decided we were enjoying laying on the couch watching them play so cute together that we would just skip sacrament meeting and go in time to teach our class. I LoVe these boys!!

Crazy Sleepers

These two are my crazy thrash all over in their sleep sleepers. Since Kai is still refusing to sleep in his own bed he is still sleeping with Riley. Justin and I always go in and check on the kids before we go to bed ourselves. This is what we found a few nights ago.

Christmas Break

Uncle Brian got a new gun for Christmas so Justin and Brian took Riley and Carson out for the day to try out Brian's new gun and also shoot some of Justin's guns. The kids really love to go shooting and bird hunting with their daddy. Riley can't wait for the day she can go deer hunting with her dad. She loves to watch the hunting channel with him. I definitely don't have a girly girl. She was telling me this morning about when she use to chase her friend Noah on the playground but now he doesn't live her anymore so she doesn't chase anyone. She says she's half girly girl (because she liked chasing Noah) and half tom boy (because she likes to shoot guns and dig in the dirt).

We also went up to Usary Park and went on a picnic with Grandma and Grandpa. My kids love this place and love to hike the little mountain. Here is Grandpa playing with his new GPS. He's showing all the kids where we have hiked so far.

The Christmas Post

I've been putting it off long enough. Here are a few highlights from christmas and our christmas break. Here's the kids eating snowman and christmas tree shaped pancakes on christmas eve before we headed over to grandma's house.

After a day of hanging out and helping grandma get everything ready we had our little nativity play and then got to buisness opening our loot.
