December Happenings

Trying to get caught up here...Its been a busy time for our family.  I have recently went back to work full time in a nursing leadership role with also fitting in a few shifts at the hospital.  Matt is getting his business going in the meantime.  We have done some adjustments with home life and just trying to stay on top of things.  The blog is one of those things that was put aside.  This blog is important as this is our family history that can be looked at in the future.

December...included lots of parties, activities and feeling the Christmas spirit.

 Temple square..tradition
Ashlynn preformed a duet with her friend at Tanja's recital.  Love both these girls!
 Christmas Pj's
 Sledding in our yard..always fun!

 More snow fun.
 Our house.
Love when the rocks are snow capped.
Carter still fitting in his basketball time even with snow on the ground.
 Ashlynn's fun hair for school.
Ashlynn's gingerbread house that she made at school.
 Carter standing on snow piles.
Our neighbor gift that we handed out.
Kids in their new snow gear.
 Ski lessons tickets!

 New tradition:  Christmas puzzle
Took about 2 weeks to complete.
Finished puzzle...We didn't want to take it down.  All 4 of us contributed to this masterpiece.

Basketball

Carter was one of the six 7th graders that made the Jr High basketball team.
This is a huge accomplishment with him being so small in height and showing his skills.  There was over thirty 7th graders that tried out for the team.  I love his determination!
A cute sign made by the cheer leaders.

He was also able to achieve honor roll status with his grades.  That is very impressive with how much school they missed with games and juggling early morning and after school practices.  This was such a great learning experience for him. So proud of him!
He also played on a competition basketball team in his spare time. Ha Ha. This kid loves to be busy with sports activities and we love to watch him!
