Cold, cold, cold

Yes, you know it is winter when you don't want to get out of bed... the mornings are getting very cold here so I had to finish my "Cold Winter Scarves" from Hatched and Patched.
I spend 3 wonderful days in the city with two girlfriends and spent two of them at the Sydney Quilt show at Darling Harbour.... and of course I had to visit Anni Downs booth and show her my finish scarf... What a talented lady she is....

Do you like my new look....

Anyway, Happy quilting.

Busy Shopping at Home?

I have been busy shopping at home for the last 3 months and I couldn't resist buying. (I have been sick for the past three weeks!! so I havn't completed too much sewing). As you can see I brought "Get red, red, ready for Christmas by Natalie Ross. (She said that she will sign it for me at the retreat in August). Pieces of Me... by Janelle Wind (sign by the lovely Janelle) and while I was out on a date last Saturday night, I brought Quilters Colour Mixing book at Borders. Then I had to buy the following kits: cold winter scarves. I am hoping to wear the scarf next week at the Sydney Quilt show at Darling Harbour and Nellie's needlebook and pincushion by Anni Downs.

Then came Precious Things and Those I Love by Leanne Beasley, Sweet project bag by Brownyn Hayes and Our Home and buttons from Lynette Anderson.

I know I know, I did spend too much, but I had to have this cute pattern from Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins called My Whimsical Quilt Garden...... now I am on a budget!!!

I won't be spending too much next week!!
Anyway, happy quilting.
