Jaxon 15 Months

Wow, I have really sucked at blogging lately.  Jax is 15 months now. Geesh...where has time gone?  He learns new things every day and is getting SO big.  Here is what he has been up to lately...

• Weighs 22.3 lbs (42%)
• Size 4 diapers
• Size 12-18 month clothes (still fits in a few 9 months)
• Has 16 teeth
• Won't take a sippy cup, only milk or water in his bottle. He hates juice.
• Loves to eat Mac&Cheese, asparagus, pasta, fruit, goldfish and teddy grahams are his FAVORITES
• Gets in trouble a lot for throwing things in the trash can or down the stairs to watch it bounce
• Understands when we say: "Let's go potty dogs", "Let's eat", "Let's change your diaper", "Go get your (blanket, duck, lion, bottle, dog, bunny, books, crackers, socks, shoes)", "Brush your hair", "Give a hug"
• Says "Da-Da", "Dog", "Duck", "X" when we spell his name, and occasionally "Mu-Mu" or "Mmmm" for Milk.  He mostly just babbles nonsense.  We think he actually speaks fluent Russian.

Here is a video of me trying to get him to say "X".  We spell his name with him every day, and after we say "J" and "A" he usually says "X", but he was getting shy and wouldn't do it when he saw my phone.



This second video I was trying to get him to say "Ma-Ma", but of course he only ever wants to say "Da-Da".



Lastly, here are some random Jaxon photos off my phone from the last month or so.

The Lorax- his first theater movie.  We only took him, because there was maybe 5 people in the theater and we had a free ticket.  He actually did really well and danced during all the musical numbers.

 
Oh and one last thing...this boy LOVES to climb.  Anything and everything is his playground.  His favorite is the rocking chair in our living room.  He stands on it and rocks back and forth like a surfer.  Ugh!  I swear it's going to give me a heart attack.  One thing is for sure...he is 100% boy.
