Grandma Lindsay's 90th

What a wonderful woman.  What a great legacy she has left for her posterity.  I am so happy that my daughters can claim they have descended from this strong, smart caring, kind, and I'll just say it, spunky woman! Happy 90th Birthday Grandma Lindsay!
We were so lucky to get to be there for her big bash.lindsay 90th-6 web

Estee's Blessing

While we were In Utah for Thanksgiving, we were lucky to be able to go to the blessing of my brother Garrett's daughter, Estee Scout.  Garrett gave a beautiful blessing and little Estee looked beautiful in her blessing dress.

Estee Scout is just 7 weeks younger than Greta. There is a pretty big size difference wouldn't you say? Estee was born almost 8 weeks early so she is a tiny thing, and of course Greta is like my other kids so she is huge!

I am starting to figure out that getting a good shot of all four kids is really hard! I do love this shot thought.  They show a lot of personality, and trust me these kids have it in spades!.

Six months with Greta

Greta 6 months-183 chalk web
I can't believe that Greta is already six months.  And yet I can't imagine there was a time in my life without her.  She has changed my life so much.  She is living proof that prayers are answered.  She is pure joy in a tiny, chubby body.  I seriously tear up daily with joy that she is mine!  She changed my life a year ago when I found out I was pregnant.  It wasn't an easy pregnancy, and moving with a new baby wasn't the easiest, but the day I discovered she was coming into our lives was an incredible day, and nothing short of miraculous.  Sometimes I still can't believe that she is here.

At six months we have started rice cereal.  On the first attempt she really didn't know what to think of it, but she very quickly got the hang of it, and really seems to like it.  I love feeding her because she just smiles at me the whole time.

She has started cooing, and yes, screeching.  My kids have all screeched.  It starts as a happy screech, but then it changes as they get older, to a death scream.  Here's hoping that we can avoid that, but if history has taught be anything I won't hold my breath. She still loves playing with her toes.  She has started rolling over from front to back, and she loves grabbing at things, especially my hair or my jewelry.
Here are her six month stats:
weight: 17 lbs
length: 27 3/4 inches
Head: 42 cm circumference

She is a smiley, happy, beautiful baby.  That is why I went a little crazy on her six month pictures.  She just kept, smiling and being adorable.  I would change her, change set ups, and expect her to let me know she was done, but she just kept smiling.

I am very happy with how her pictures turned out, and I am so excited to share them.  Feel free to gush about how ridiculously cute she is, I can take it.
