Kallie - 5 years old

Today was Kallie's 5 year old birthday!  She was so excited and wanted the day to be just perfect!  We decorated for her birthday party, cleaned the house, and took birthday girl pictures!  She even put together her own party favor bags.  They each had 5 each of her 5 favorite treats!  This girl is our happy helper!  

Our favorite things about Kallie this year are:

* She is always willing to help with any project or job.  After the big girls leave for school she makes the rounds and makes any unmade beds, puts away clothes, helps me with the dishes.  She even has her own broom to help me sweep the kitchen!

* She LOVES to take care of Gavin.  She carries him around the house with her so that he can play by her wherever she goes.

* Kallie is very independent and wants to be able to do everything that the older girls do.  Tie her shoes, do homework, make her bed...

* She is such a happy, loving girl.  Always has a hug for us and a smile.

Savannah - 7 years old

Happy Birthday Savannah, you're 7 years old!

Savannah is our sweet ray of sunshine every single day.  Always so concerned about other people's feelings, if she hears crying somewhere she seeks out the sad person so that she can help them smile again.  She's also our fashion guru at home.  Her outfits always match, and if she changes her outfit then she's sure to change her hair accessories to match!  If you want to be sure she has a good day then a couple of big hugs and a kiss will assure her happy little heart.  

This year she was determined to have a jungle birthday....she decorated her own party with zebra stripes and jungle animals!  Good Job, Nann, We love you!

Last Great Days of Summer

For our last of summer Family Home Evening we had a great treat from our neighbors garden!  Love the watermelon!

Fishing with Grandpa Jones
