change

I revel in it. I really like it. I even push for it. Weird, I know, most people shy away from it. I don't know if it was that my parent's moved every 4 or 5 years when I was growing up or just that it's exciting and fun... but I like CHANGE. But... it, of course depends on the kind of change. So, to celebrate my birthday... I went for this change: Should I keep it or grow it back out? What do you think?

The Spy life for me!

Tal and I have been staying really busy with end 0f semester excitement, but we've been able to get some fun in there too! Last weekend Chelsea & Brig came up with a great idea... the IWA dance at the institute (yes, we realize that the IWA is a single women organization and we're married... but hey, it sounded fun!) So, we got all dressed up and danced to our heart's content. And then, we played games and ate chips and munchies with some of our friends. Next... we had a fun little snow storm. It was just enough to dust the grass and add some fun to the leaves on the ground. Then, Tal and I took a break from studying and went on a little date. I planned it all out and ordered dinner beforehand. It was a great date and pretty cheap even with dinner. We took the dinner back to our apartment and had a little picnic in our extra bedroom. We shared a delicious entre from the Olive Garden: Then we braved the cold and went on a little walk up to campus-- it was nice to step ou...

Running in the Dark

My little sister and I have been running lately to ward off big hips and emotional dips. We've put together a perfect schedule and... most of the time... we keep it. Well, the other morning I rolled out of bed at quarter to six (yes, in the a.m.), and drove up to my parent's so we could run. After a brief stop inside, we took off down the street. We were probably about a 1/4 of a mile when my sister turns to me and says, "Do you hear a dog?" Thinking she is most certainly hearing things, I quieted her fears of a giant rottweiler coming after us by telling her it was just the zipper on my jacket. Then, I heard it too. A dog tag jingling in the distance and the sound of soft padded feet coming after us. I turned just in time to see a little white fur ball come bounding around the corner. It was NOT a giant scary dog, but instead our families miniature poodle. Yes, he's small, yes he was running at full speed, and yes, he wanted to come find us. Apparently, my dad l...

Before I found you...

How did I live? Seriously! No, I'm not talking about Mr. T-man, (I'm trying to decide how elusive I'd like my blog to become)... although he's pretty much the best thing since sliced bread, but this blog I found from my friend's blog is going to make me a very happy woman! I stay pretty busy trying to study and go to class and clean and keep these apartments running, so... I don't cook as many elaborate meals as I use to. I've been turning too---> MY CROCK-POT! I have a few really good recipes, but I've been on a search for something more... and then I found it: 365 Days of Slow Cooking! Thanks to my friend who had the link (again, not sure how elusive)... but hopefully you'll all find the happy goodness that I have found. Crock-pot, I think we're going to have a nice long relationship.
