April Fools

So today as I racked my brain about a good April Fool trick to play on Will I thought...ok I'll text him and tell him that they finally told us how the budget cuts are going to effect the district employees...

My text: just found out what they r doing with the budget cuts. I'm down to 10 months now and 30 hrs a week and 50% pay cut...I can't believe this!

His reply: April fools

Dang it he didn't fall for it....so thinking quickly I decided to text back...

Me: well it sounds better than what really happened today...I backed into my co-workers car in the parking lot!

Him: tell me you are joking

Here's me laughing with my co-workers

Me: nope backed right into them I can't believe it!

Him: r u stealing my meds? what the crap?

Me: no maybe I should take some of ur meds then I wouldn't crash into stupid cars!

Laugh laugh laugh no text's back later after work the kids and I run to the grocery store and when we came out there was an Isuzu Rodeo suv parked next to me and it was missing the back spare tire on the back tailgate and looked like it had been crashed. My perfect opportunity to snap a picture with my cell and send it to Will and show him the car that I hit today. :o) I know mean!

He replies: please tell me you are joking

Me: ok i am

Him: you are a bad girl and in trouble

Me: I just said what you wanted me to say I didn't say it was true

Him: u r kidding right?

Me: after about 10 minutes reply back "April fools babe"

Him: ha ha

Me: pretty good huh I couldn't pass up sending you the picture so funny ha ha ha

Him: ha ha

I'll add the picture of the car tomorrow when I down load it. I thought it was kind of funny and he needed a pick me up before his surgery tomorrow right? :o)

Goodbye Cute Chloe....

I've had a couple of people ask me about Chloe our little yorkie....well I actually decided, which was very difficult by the way that my Aunt Susan could provide a better life for her.

Poor Chloe had to be locked up daily because after 2 months she still wasn't potty trained and so I would have to put her in her kennel and then come home on my lunch to let her out and then lock her up again until the kids got home from school to let her out and watch her. This schedule didn't look like it was going to change and to be very honest Will didn't want a dog in the first place. I'm not saying that he didn't help out or play with her etc just that he knew we were too busy in our lives right now to take good care of a puppy right now.
It didn't help that McKenna and I were allergic to her either but neither one of us ever wanted to admit that because we wanted a puppy so bad. I've always wanted a teacup yorkie and Chloe is such a cute one that this was a hard pill to swallow...admitting that it might not have been the best time in our life to get one and that I didn't have enough time to dedicate to training her.

Anyways, my Aunt had asked me where I got her from and so I gave her the breeder's information and so she contacted her but then I thought I should just sell her Chloe because she could take better care of her and we could still see Chloe when we are up north. Aunt Susan agreed and on 3/27/09 they picked her up and all of her toys, blankets, pink fluffy dog bed, kennel and her year's supply of dog food. My Aunt is totally excited and loving her already...this is Chloe at her new house.

Some day we might have the time and energy a puppy takes but not while the kids are young and I work fulltime and then some. :o)

More pics from my Mom & Sister's Visit

More pictures from when they were here in March. We had a blast and only wish that we saw them everyday!!!

These little cousins love playing together can you tell? They put on dances for us and sang too. So cute!

Calvin loses 4 teeth in one day!

Before he lost his 4 teeth (sorry it looks like he was chewing some food which he might have been because I didn't take the picture)
After and yes that is a tooth already sticking up in the back...he's part shark like his older sister and his baby teeth never got loose so his permanent teeth starting growing a row behind them. Luckily only one was coming in...McKenna had 3 come in all at once which resulted in a more shocking shark effect. :o)
We have a fantastic dentist though and now this tooth that was behind the four little ones has moved forward right up where it needs to be. The dentist pulled all four on March 11, 2009.
UPDATE: I forgot to mention that Dr. Thomas gave him a little clear box to put his teeth in for the tooth fairy and so he put all four of them in the box under his pillow. The tooth fairy didn't disappoint either because she left him $5.00 so he got an extra dollar for his pain and he thought it was AWESOME!!!
