I just discovered this blog a couple weeks ago. So far I really like it, and have understood most of the cartoons. However in this cartoon, I don't see the three overused cliches.

I was being self-referential there -- the three cliches were in the line before it, not the comic.

The comic reminded me of the overused "it is what it is" and I just added it to two more that I hear too often when people can't find other words.

I don't mind any of those three when used sparingly, but I've heard them jumbled together a few times.

Like fingernails on the chalkboard.
