Alder Girls - So Beautiful

We had our Pictures taken in this wonderful old house so we had to have an old-fashioned serious photo. What is so funny is that Danielle even got the serious face!!!

We also had our pictures taken by the Temple and the older girls just had to walk up the magnificent rock stair case. We all attempted to walk all the way up. Keith and Danielle didn't quite make it, the older girls, myself and our wonderful photographer did but I let the girls have their moment. I loved the picture.

This is one of my favorite photos. It was posed some what but I love the real life shots. I was so happy that the pictures turned out so well. I bought the Red dresses for the girls for Christmas last year and wanted a photo eversince. It only took me about a year but better late than never! I promised Keith I would not do another formal photo for a very long time. He was a good sport - and looks so handsome in a red shirt and tie!!! Thanks Amanda for the wonderful pictures!!! Nov. 2008 - Keith and I celebrated our 8th Year Wedding Anniversary on Nov. 24th. We have had a lot of fun times together and four beautiful daughters to show for the hardest thing we have ever done but definetly the most rewarding! From Here to Eternity!!!!

HALLOWEEN

Here are the girls on Halloween. Lexie and Kassidy are in their school Halloween parade. Lexie is a princess - my mom made that dress for me when I was in second grade for Halloween and Lexie wore it this year. Kassidy is the cutest angel I have ever seen. Cecily carried on the tradition of Minnie Mouse. Danie was piglet but I lost my camera half way through the day and I don't have a picture of her. So so Sad!!!!! I am a horrible mom!!!!!!

Carving Pumpkins

So this year we tried to grow a garden and that didn't work so well. We did manage to grow three pumpkins and some squash. One of the three pumpkins didn't make it to carving due to the chickens eating/pecking it to death so I will admit that I did have to resort to buying pumpkins from Wal-Mart. Anywho the girls had a lot of fun and said the best part was playing with the seeds. Maybe next year will be better!!!!!!

Lagoon

The girls and I headed out for an adventure on Oct. 25th to Lagoon. I had not been there for years!!! We had such a great time. We went with my life long friend Kesha, her girls and her mom and my mom. It was the best Girls trip to Lagoon. Thanks Kesha again for sharing your tickets!!!!

First Day of School

We can't believe we have two in school! Look at those cute girls!!!! and all that hair to do!!!

Lexie is in 2nd Grade.

CATCH - UP

I'm a slacker but I wanted to update a little even though the pictures are from July!!! Well this summer we got to enjoy something that we love to do as a family - CAMPING!!!! & RIDING MOTORCYCLES!!!! We went camping with Keith's family and it was a lot of fun. We own 4 of the six bikes shown. I think it is safe to say we have an obbession!!!!

While we were camping we hiked the high terrace of "6" mile and came into some elk. We didn't get to see them long due to all of the kids we had. But it was pretty awesome.

Lexie and Kassidy had a Dance competition in March. They had a lot of fun and did really well. They each got their own trophies.

Hi Everyone

OK, here goes this is my first attempt at blogging so we will see how it turns out. Everyone may wonder unless your familiar with Motorcross terminology but we are the Moto Alders. Everyone of our girls have ridden a motorcycle. Lexie & Kassidy can ride their motorcycle by themselves. In fact Monday night the girls took their first jumps on the bike and loved it. Cecily still rides with Mom or Dad but she loves to sit on the little motorcycle all by herself. She would ride it by herself if we let her. Danielle rode on her first motorcycle while still in my tummy but it won't be long (unfortunately) that she will learn to ride.
