St. George Half Marathon

So to kick this New Year off I decided to do something I have never done before - Run a Half-Marathon or 13.1 miles. So with the help of two Amazing women! I trained and ran it in under 2 hours! It was an awesome experience!!! The pictures are of us after the race in the hotel lobby. We went and got showered hoping to get back to the finish line to take pictures but when we got there they had taken it all down. Lesson for next year - have someone come along just to take pictures! None of use wanted to carry a camera the entire race! The three of us by a tree that was the starting line. The next one is where the finish line was. The third was the little hill we had to come down and then rounded the corner to the finish line. It was a great sight! After the race we were all craving Olive Garden! It tasted so yummy! Thanks again Breezy and Felicia for the an awesome experience!!!

Flipping with Uncle Tate

While waiting for everyone to arrive for Danie's party the kids had a riot having Uncle Tate helping them do flips. I remember doing this as a kid and loved it! I guess the girls follow suit. There was a constant line everyone waiting patiently for their turn.

Christmas Time

Here is a tradition that I loved as a little girl and that I have continued with my girls. I always got a Christmas Dress. I'm sure a lot of others do this to but I have a lot of fun dressing 4 girls all alike. I have decided to keep doing it until Lexie puts up with it. I don't know how much longer she will want to look like her younger sisters.

Christmas morning was a frenzy of wrapping paper and bows. I remember as a little girl how Christmas would last all day long. My dad would only let us open one present at a time and we all had to take turns and watch everyone else. I miss those days. You prepare so much for Christmas and like these pictures it could be over in 20 minutes. Next year I think we are going to have to try my family tradition.

Christmas Time

This year Lexie had a speaking part in the Christmas program and she did very well! Even with her knees shaking!!
Here are some pictures of Christmas Eve. Of course everyone needs new P.J.'s! Gotta love the new P.J.'s!!!

Kassidy's 7th Birthday

For Kassidy's birthday we went to the bowling alley had dinner and then let the kids bowl. It was really fun!!! I dare say that the adults had just as much fun as the kids. It was put to a vote and Grandpa Roger had the best follow-thru. I can't believe Kassidy is Seven but we love her so much!!!

Sledding - December 2009

We love to sled in this family. The girls couldn't wait to go. This is just one sledding trip but we have gone numerous times and had only two fatalities. Cecily lost her two front teeth to a runner sled Christmas Eve. So the poor girl will be without teeth for at least 5 years or so!!! Consolation Prize??? Santa Clause and the tooth fairy all in one night!
