Vegas Baby!

Mark and I were able to go to Vegas during January. Mark had a conference there and we were lucky enough to have Mark's parents come and stay with our kids. We had a lot of fun and I love my kids, but I LOVE when we get to get away for a few days. We spent most of our time with a couple that Mark works with. And I am waiting to get some pictures from them because I didn't want to lug my big camera around with me all the time so the only pictures I have are the ones that we took on our phones, (which isn't a lot.)

The first night we went to some of the clubs in the casinos and danced until almost 4 in the morning. It was a lot of fun and something that we don't normally do. I don't think that we have been dancing since we got married. We spent most of the next day at the conference. They had a ton of cool stuff but I thought it was a little overwhelming. That night we had dinner at the restaurant on top of the Stratosphere. It was really neat and so cool to see Vegas all lit up at night from up there. And there's nothing like spending a more than a week's worth of groceries on one meal, but I think it was worth it. We spent the next day just walking around in the morning and Mark's friend, Tom and I went on the New York roller coaster. I love roller coasters and I was glad someone was there that would go on it with me.

It was such a good weekend, even though it was a really quick trip.

The Long Days of Winter

I really love winter, but I am starting to go a little bit stir crazy. There have been a few days where it has been really nice and the kids and I have been able to go play outside. But it is about this time every year that I am wishing and waiting for Spring to come. So lately we have just been hanging out at home and trying to find fun things to do.

Here are just a bunch of pictures of us from January and February.

Like Father, Like Son

Paxton loves to eat oatmeal in the mornings. Just like his dad!
