Camping!

We went camping this weekend with my parents out past Castle Dale by I-70. We love to camp but I have to admit that it is so much better in the trailer. We went for a nice ride on Saturday morning. My dad took Conner and Mark had Paxton strapped on to him. We rode out to Copper Globe Mine and saw the remains of the mine there. We also rode out to a nice overlook that had some neat little caves and holes in the rocks. This was Paxton's first real ride on the four wheelers. He feel asleep on the way out and again on the way back from the ride. But when he was awake he was having lots of fun. Mark said that he was just laughing the whole time.

On Sunday we met up with my family again and had hot dogs and marshmellows at Sheep Creek. Kurtis, Rosalie, Austin and Madison met us there. Conner and Austin had lots of fun feeding the "gophers" hotdogs, carrots and marshmellows. Paxton got to sit in his own chair for the first time and had lots of fun eating cherrios out of the cup holders. I have a little video of it, so I will see if I can figure out how to post it.

So much fun!

We had such a fun day outside yesterday. We bought some tress and flowers for our yard and spent the day working outside. I have to admit that Paxton probably had the most fun. He loved the dirt! He was so funny because he didn't want to sit down in it. He would bear crawl around and then just play while he was on his hands and feet.

I am so excited to get things planted in our yard. It has been a lot of work but it is really coming together.

Look what Pax can do!

Paxton has now learned how to climb stairs. He started doing it a few months ago and only make it up one stair, but stopped. But now he can make it almost all the way up the stairs. He has to have a lot of encouragement though, or else he gets quite distracted. It still makes me really nervous though because he thinks that he can just sit back down on his bum and then he falls backwards. Thank goodness he was only the bottom step when that happens.

It is official!

Little Con-man is potty trained! And I am so excited. He has been in big boy underpants for 3 days now without an accident or having to put on a pullup to go anywhere. I have been looking forward for this day for such a long time.

Yea for grass!

We have spent the last month trying to get our yard finished and we finally were ready for grass. I am so excited for it. We now have grass and garden beds and bark for the playset. I am hoping that we won't be tracking so much dirt into the house now. I am really excited to plant flowers and bushes, but we'll see how ambitious I get. I am just glad to get as much done as we have. There is still alot to do though, as you can see.

Easter Weekend, April 8th

I am a little late at getting this posted but better late than never. Easter weekend was a lot of fun. It seemed like we drove around the whole state before it was over. After Mark had a follow up surgery on his nose Friday we drove down to Mayfield for the Easter picnic on Saturday. Con had lots of fun playing with his cousins. On Saturday, we went to see the cows and baby pigs, colored Easter eggs and went to Easter Hollow and had our picnic. Conner was so excited for the Easter bunny to come. This was the first time that we have been able to have our picnic outdoors for several years. It was a lot of fun. After the picnic we drove over to Castle Dale, then on Sunday drove to Vernal for baby Stephanie's blessing.

Fun Weekend

We were able to go visit Grandma & Grandpa's in Castle Dale this last weekend. We are always so glad when we can get away. Mark has been really busy with work lately, that this was a break we all really needed. We spent the weekend building a picnic table for our backyard. I can't wait until we can actually spend a lot of time outside without getting completely covered in dirt.

Conner also had lots of fun coloring Easter eggs and rolling them down anything he could find and Grandma and Grandpa's house. He kept saying that there was a little birdie in his egg and he wanted it to come out.
