Check this out... it is the cutest thing ever!
Our friends, the Hondas, brought over a bike for Sarelle that their son had grown out of... which she is now riding with skill and ease. It was fun to see her so proud and just zooming all over. So then Zale says, "I wanna ride this one" ... pointing to Sarelle's old 12" one. After much pursuading, I agreed to run behind him, not looking forward to the aching back and being out of breath. He can be SO persistant.
As I began running behind him two or three steps, Zale says, "I do it myself." He continued for the next couple of steps to INSIST. Being the mother of the year candidate, I thought, "Fine, do it yourself!" (Thinking he would fall over and I would try to catch him.) Nope. Off goes little Zale, riding on his own. Turning and balancing as if he had been riding for weeks. That was THE easiest training I have ever assisted in. WOW! That boy has some serious boy genes... and some major balancing skills. It is the cutest thing ever.

One way around the Christmas Budget...
Merry Christmas!! With our fine Christmas budget, we decided we just couldn't put out the extra $50 to send Cards this year. So tacky as it may be.... we were able to send our Christmas card to everyone on our email list. Unfortunately we don't have everyone's email, but.... "It's all good" (our phrase for the year)
Loves to all!
Loves to all!

Random
Yep... big loser...lost my username or something... I couldn't remember how to get onto my own blog. So the new name could be... If I could remember I had a blog. Ha HA!
I really want to write about a few things... but not tonight. I am going to bed. But just remind me....thanksgiving (ya gotta love being a mom of kindergarteners... I got to be the pilgram ...looking ever so smashing in my bonnet.
Then there are the flamingos, and an all day "freezing" 50 degree lacrosse tournament 11 hours! and oh yes, from last October... the jungle YW activity.
Oh and here is my sub
stitute teaching card that I made to hand to my favorite teachers. (I really don't want to sub for just anyone) I love Zale's little marching feet and how the girls are laughing!)

So school started . Off went my angel helpers to school. All 5 of them... even Sarelle started school.
They all are thrilled to be back with their buddies and meeting their new teachers. But with school comes chaos... more homework, more projects, SOCCER, seminary and schedules. (I miss the lazy days of summer)

The older girls even are enjoying school. Konrie is loving Spanish & Torra is a web-leader helping out the 7th graders & is drama council Pres. Pretty nifty.
I must admit, it gets a little quiet around here during the day... accept that is - for Zale... who has the ability to destruct more in 10 minutes than the whole bunch of girls can do in 2 days. :o)
Truly I love the time with Zale. He is so fun and happy and smart. He puts smiles on our faces everyday with his sense of humor.

So with the second or so day of school, when I left the room for maybe 5 minutes... Zale landed right in the middle of a bannana hurricane... poor innocent boy just was trapped... bananas flying all around him. At the end, banana was smooshed all over him, the floor and the carpet, but lucky our little trouper survived without a scratch. Amazingly he still lives to tell about it.
And then, the next week Grandma and I bought him a new train and he was just so adorable to watch. All day long he played with his train and brought it everywhere and told everyone all about it. He just cracks us up. Oh the joy of our boy!!

So I guess I have a blog...
Honestly, like I need another thing to absorb my time... but it does sound like oh so much fun to journal our little adventures. Over the past few years, there have been several occasions that I thought, "If I had a blog... I would write this one down."
So here we are. The Mingalings on the map of Cyber space.
Looking forward to capturing some great daily moments and sharing the bigs ones with our family and friends. But not tonight. I am going to bed. Someday I will get all fancy and add fun pictures and tell some stories ... then again... someday may never come.
