Halloween

Butterfly...for a Halloween party, fake eyelashes (glued on with tacky glue, after many tears)

Vampire and Jason....no cute costumes allowed anymore!
The boys prefer the scary look now....
We put sparkles in Cole's hair, so he glimmered like Edward....

PJ girls....London got way too much candy....I guess cause I told her it was her last year!

Cheer

Beaverton Celebration Parade

I didn't get these photos approved by London, so some may be deleted soon. This is her first year cheering for Sunset and she is having such a blast. She is making some new friends and getting to use her tumbling skills, learning stunts and mastering the poof (the bangs, poofed up, a cheer term I wasn't aware of). She would pose for a photo, so this was the best I could do, I will keep trying.

Soccer

This is our last Kick and Chase year ever! Our first weekend back in to sports mode, was 95 degrees and we had a total of 5 games. Cade had 3 games, and is playing with a great group on boys on a Milltown team, much more skilled and competetive than last year. He is loving it and really doing well. Our second weekend was about 55 degrees with rain, I would definitely chose the hot....needless to say I need to take some more pictures of Cade.

Back to School

Okay, Slacker blogger here. I will do a summer recap soon, but first Back to school! 1st, 5th and 7th graders here at the Chandler Household. The first day was a little rough for the mama, but she is adapting quite nicely! Very cute kids, a busy job, and busy weekends make it even easier.

Easter

Once again, very difficult to get an Easter photo....but London made some delicious cinnamon rolls for breakfast and we had a simple dinner with Nana....so no complaints!

Baseball

Cole is playing his first year of Rookie baseball. He is loving it, and we are loving when there is a dry game. Not the easiest request this time of year...but still great when it happens. Cole is a great hitter and loves any action he can find in the game! Go Astros!

TWELVE!!!

Apparently a tiara is mandatory on your special day....

London turned twelve today! Amazing that she could possibly be that old. She was very excited to be able to go to school on her birthday...actually the first day back after Spring Break! One bonus was that I had no trouble waking her up for school. Usually her birthday is during Spring Break, so this was pretty special. Cole and I brought her Subway for lunch...no we didn't stay...just quickly handed over the goods and then bolted from the building, just seeing a hall full of eight graders was disturbing enough....thankfully the 6th graders looked much sweeter!

London came home from school and then went and hung out at a friends, went to Jazz, and then came home for a quick dinner of Orange Chicken take out, and then we had Grandma and Grandpa and Nana and Papa over for desert....angelfood cake with fresh whipped cream and strawberries, or as my kids call it "angelpie" She certainly made my life easy today! She received some really special gifts from her grandparents, a cookbook that her grandma was given to her by her mom when she was a girl and a specially hand made treasure box from Nana. The UPS truck delayed her other gift from mom and dad, so that will have to wait until tomorrow, but Cade and Cole gave her some fun gifts as well! Happy Birthday cute London...you are so fun and talented and we love you so much!
