Cross your fingers...

I have something coming up in the next two weeks with my job that could be a dream come true. I don’t want to divulge too much info right now as I already have my hopes up enough. I am asking you all to keep your fingers crossed for me that it goes well, and I will update as soon as I hear something. Thanks!!!

Anniversary!!!

Today is our 3 year wedding anniversary(it feels like longer because we've been together 7 years)!! It has been another amazing year, and we look forward to MANY more.

A Quick Rant!!!

OK- I never do this, but I am seriously ticked off right now!!! WE just elected a new president not even two days ago & I am already getting crap from people to "vote for (whoever) 2012!". GIVE IT A REST!!! You may not be happy with who the next president is, but we need to let things settle down before we start campaigning for 2012 or I AM GOING TO LOSE IT!!!!!!!! I am so sick of hearing about election stuff, and vote this- or- vote that. It's over and decided for the next 4 years, and for the next 3 1/2 years AT LEAST I don't want to hear about anymore election stuff! I am going to be a good american and be supportive to what has been put before me for now. I may not always agree, but what is done is done for now. If I start hearing about "Whoever for 2012" already I swear I am moving to Australia!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy 24^th Birthday to my Mustang Boy!!!

I couldn’t let this day go by without posting to my love on your birthday. I know everyone else sees this too, but I had to give you a shout on out your special day. I will keep it simple and sweet, as my entire feelings can never be put into words (but I wrote the real mushy stuff in your birthday card!). I know we don’t get too excited about birthdays anymore now that we are getting older- but you know me & I have to make a big deal about it. I hope you have an amazing day love! You are such a great man, and I am so blessed for every moment I share with you in this life. You always know how to make me smile, or laugh, or when I need YOUR hug. You have an amazing soul & you radiate it to those around you. Thank you for being you, for being my best friend, and the one I know I can always count on for anything. Happy Birthday, and here’s to another great year ahead- you know it will be!

Boutique & Sassy Cakes...

Well we had the boutique today. It went well, but I do have to say that it’s very apparent that people are being more reluctant to spend any money. And while talking with a lot of the AWESOME ladies I met today – we were kind of in agreement that it felt a little like show & tell. Everyone had the CUTEST things to sell I have ever seen- SO much talent & creativity. I have to give a shout out to the sweetest lady with the BEST CAKE EVER! Mandy Powell of Sassy Cakes blew me away. She makes the cutest cakes & they are SO good. You can actually eat her fondant!!!  It’s amazingly good- normally fondant isn’t too great on cakes but her was amazing. I bought one of her mini cakes- yellow, my fav color, & zebra which I love1 It was chocolate with chocolate filling. YUMMY STUFF!! Thanks Mandy you rock!

Also, a big thanks to Sally for hosting the boutique, it was a lot of fun!
