This life.

Our little Isabel is not little anymore.  She is pulling up on everything all time.  She crawls really fast and cruises around the living room furniture.  She has recently learned that she can crawl from room to room and loves her new found freedom!  My favorite is when she crawls to the door and stands at the window and watches the world. She can stand there for 10-15 minutes just looking.

She loves bike rides with dad.  She likes to be pushed in the stroller by the girls. She really likes it when I let her crawl around outside.  She loves loves the dirt.

Isabel still is not a lover of food.  She likes to gnaw on a cucumber or tomato.  She likes an orange or apple.  She will eat bits of cheese.  She likes a few pieces of table food here and there but overall she just prefers her mummsie.
Here is one of those awesome mid-blink pictures!  Our library on base is absolutely wonderful!  We love it!  They NEVER charge a late fee.  Ever.  I could have the book for a year and they still won't charge a fee.  That alone has made me fall in love with the library.  Beyond that, the library has three workers that are just the goofiest little library ladies ever.  They fall over the kids, they think every kid is just the absolute best.  They remember all of our names and greet our kids by name with fist pumps and high fives.  They do a fabulous story time two times a week with an awesome craft and all too often some crazy snack that I would never make for my kids at home.  We love it!
I love all our "military" looking pictures!  This time in life will be over all too soon and seeing my husband in uniform will end one day.  Until then, I will keep snapping pictures of him being a daddy in uniform!
The base might be small but they do a great job in hosting some great events.  This was the Christmas Party last year.   Crafts, games, balloons, puppet shows, magicians, etc.  The kids were in heaven!  Not to mention a great Claus Couple!
The Ward Christmas Party was great!  Yep.  That is Eliza as a cow at the edge of the stage while baby Jesus is making his debut behind her.  She was only a cow but that didn't stop her from being the star.
You can kind of see Lizee crawling around with her head looking at the crowd.  She really thought this play was all about her! With how she played the cow- it might as well have been!
Decorating Christmas cookies.  I love decorating cookies with the kids.  I think I equally love watching Matt decorate tthem.  He is very meticulous and works hard on one or two cookies to make them look "just right."
Above and below pictures are of Matt's 40th (WHAT??!) birthday!  He wanted a banana cream pie.  Well, to be fair, the night before he had a chocolate cake and then that weekend we had an apple pie.  It seemed like every night before and after his birthday we had company which meant we needed more dessert!  Happy Birthday Matt!

Isabel was in love with this balloon.  She would wake up and look for it.  Her little hand would hold onto the string for 20 minutes at a time as she would yank up and down on it to watch it move.  She smiled when it came close.  She would reach for it when it was far.

See that giant table of folded clothes---story of my life!
Reading.  So much reading....all the time.  I know its a good thing and these kids benefit from reading so much...but really these kids wake up and bring us books in bed.  I wonder sometimes if it's their ploy to get me to sit down and not be moving around taking care of chores all the time.  I have to admit- its nice to just sit and read!
Isabel in the fort with her first love- the Spiderman balloon!
Eliza is our little fashionista.  She is always putting things in her hair,  making outfits and asking to have her picture taken.  What a little cutie!
Disneyland!  We went to Disneyland during the Christmas season in 2014.  We loved it!  The lines were pretty short in the morning allowing us ride just about everything we wanted. We can't wait to go again!
The kids (as always) live for when Daddy comes home.  He really is just the greatest daddy!  He comes home and instantly switches into daddy mode.  He wrestles, plays games, reads books, gives baths, and on and on.  One of the kids favorite things is to stand on Matt's hands and keep their bodies straight and stiff while he lifts them up.
This girl!
Our sofa is pretty crowded all the time now.  Kids are always complaining about not having a spot.  Often they sit on top of the sofa.  Better view that way!

Liz got a new dress and of course needed a picture of her wearing it!  Lizee also has been endowed with the greatest hair ever!  It is so thick!  It curls like a dream, too!  Lucky kid!  She recently has been asking for braids and different hair styles.  Oy, this mom has been struggling.  I need to watch some more you tubes or something.  The other day she wen to church with a french braid that looked like Emma did it.  It will likely be the story of her life!  She'll manage!

Our life is a good one!   Wouldn't change a thing!

Bradford Happenings...

This fun camping experience happened in the Summer of 2014...in our backyard.  Matt set up the tent, prepared the kids with beds, backpacks, drinks for the night, etc.   Would you believe it took Emma maybe 10 minutes to be back inside all snug in her own bed?  The kids told her it was spooky and started making ghost noises.  Once Emma was gone Eliza started to feel a little lonely with our mini-me sidekick.  So, maybe 30 minutes later she was inside.  Leave it to Dane to stay in the tent all night by himself.  He loved it!  He loved it so much he slept in the tent the next night also.  What a little man!

This is a park located off base near the Rosamond Airport.  There were so many geese and ducks it was a little unnerving. The kids loved it!

We brought the kids' bikes.  They loved being able to bike ahead of us on the paths.  We also packed a picnic lunch.  Isabel was maybe 4 or 5 months.  We love our Isabel and the fun and joy she brings to our family!
(Anybody else think he looks slightly like Buddy the Elf?)

We love this life with our little family!

Our littles

Just a little catch-up with the blog.  These little kiddos are F.U.N. and C.U.T.E.!

It's a Mr. Potato head kind of morning with these kidlets!

Spiderman

So this might have happened 6 months ago---but it is just to cute to not back track just a little.  Dane has fun little boy love for Spiderman.  However, if you ask him, he would rather be the Hulk.  He makes a pretty great Spiderman, though!
