Stephen Colbert Paul Begala: Obama to Clock John Boehner? Colbert Confirms a One Term Obama Presidency
The best of the video is before Begala arrives, but it essential to hear Colbert confirm that this will be a one-term presidency for Barack Obama. And then there's the comment from Begala about what Obama will do to House Minority Leader, John Boehner. When Colbert mentions Strom Thurmond, remember he was a Democrat back them.

Jon Stewart Chris Matthews Ron Burgundy: One Scotch Away From Ron Burgundy
This one had to hurt. After Chris Matthews said he forgot Obama was Black...for an hour! Stewart grinds it in: "I swear this guy is one scotch away from being Ron Burgundy." Ouch - that's harsh! Watch the video to the end, it moves to Jews and Asians, and big Irish Lesbian Gym Teachers.

Larry Platts Pants on the Ground Rip Off of Green Brothers Back Pockets on the Floor?
Well, this is too bad. Larry Platt performed his "original" rap Pants on the Floor at an audition on American Idol a couple of weeks ago. The song, which advises young men to pull up their pants and turn the bill of their hat around, because "your looking like a fool with your pants on the ground...your hat turned sideways...your pants on the ground...." See videos below.
The song was an instant cult hit. It was everywhere. Platt, who says he is a "General," and FOXNews explains that he is a "civil rights soldier," asked FOX for help with protecting his intellectual property, because...the song was everywhere.
Here's the twist: The Green Brothers say Platt has ripped off their Back Pockets on the Floor. They said they wish Mr. Platt well, but want people to hear their version, recorded in 1996.
In the video below, you'll hear similar thought, dissimilar melody (do raps have "melody")? The Green Brothers song is a fine message. Too bad community leaders couldn't get this message heard where it should have been heard, adhered to by those who should be adhering to their elders, or simply thought of it themselves and made it happen.
Listen to the words in the Green Brothers' Back Pockets on the Floor, and then to Mr. Platt's Pants on the Floor, which he says he has been performing for about 5 years. What do you think? Rip off?

Joel Branstrom Basketball Coach Sinks Ball Half-Court, Blindfolded, Dizzy
Women's basketball coach, Joel Branstrom at Olathe Northwest, Ks, made the impossible shot from half-court, blindfolded, and dizzy. Update 1-27-10: Coach Branstrom and his family are going to the NCAA Final Four. See the second video below.
Students wanted to prank their coach, who is also a Science teacher, but got pranked themselves. They told him he would win NCAA tickets if he made the shot blindfolded. The crowd was prompted to cheer wildly when he missed, knowing that it was an impossible shot. But...he made it, and made it nicely. Students were stunned. There were never any tickets to the NCAA because no one thought Coach Branstrom could make it happen. Oh well...they bought him a gift certificate at a Mexican restaurant.
I’ve been around long enough and done these kinds of practical jokes,” said Branstrom, who also teaches biology at the suburban Kansas City school. “I figured they were trying to punk me.”If anyone out there has an extra seat at the Final Four, the Olathe Northwest students would be grateful if you would share it with their coach.
Before launching the shot, Branstrom figured he was about to be hit in the face with a pie, so he held the ball up as protection for a few seconds.
“I knew they would cheer regardless to make me think I hit it,” Branstrom said. “I let it go, they cheered, I heard laughter. I seriously didn’t know I made it for a while.”
Jon Stewart on Obama's Grade School Teleprompter Video
This came to my attention from several friends. I blew it off, because, after all, the President was not speaking to the classroom with his teleprompter - or at least no one is admitting to such. Apparently, he spoke to 6th graders in a 1st grade classroom and then addressed the press...from the classroom...with his presidential podium...and his teleprompter. Honestly, he looked ridiculous. Jon Stewart points out the President's problem.
Via Gateway Pundit and Snarky Basterd, who thought he got it wrong, but...

Indonesia to Tear Down Obama Statue? Little Barry Statue Barely a Month Old Needs to Go
A bronze statue of President Obama, known as "Little Barry," may be removed from Jakarta, Indonesia's Menteng Park barely a month after its unveiling.
Critics say the site should have been used to honour an Indonesian...The Take Down the Barack Obama Statue in Menteng Park page on Facebook has 55,000 fans. The page, not written in English, allegedly says Obama has done nothing for Indonesia:
"Barack Obama has yet to make a significant contribution to the Indonesian nation. We could say Obama only ate and s (expletive) in Menteng. He spent his subsequent days living as an American," the web page says. There are three such pages on Facebook. This page in English is a "student groups," and says "Remove the Obama statue and make room for real heroes." This page shows 2,358 members and refers to a Fox News Story in its description. It links to the original group which appears to be in an Indonesian language, with 55,513 members.
"For the dignity of a sovereign nation, Barack Obama's monument in Menteng Park must be removed immediately."
I wonder who the Obama "relatives and friends are," - the ones that erected this in the first place, and talked the parks department into accepting it. I'm betting there is more to this story.

YaVaughnie Wilkins is Charles E Phillips Scorned Mistress? Charles E. Phillips is Obama Advisor
YaVaughnie Wilkins allegedly kept very close company with Charles E. Phillips, a wealthy Obama adviser. Phillips is said to be married, but not to Wilkins. After Phillips dumped her, Wilkins posted billboards of her and Wilkins at a much happier time...three in New York and one each in Atlanta and San Franciso.
Phillips admitted to an 8-1/2 year affair with Wilkins, and friends say he "portrayed himself as having been legally divorced in 2003." Phillips is back home living with his wife, Karen, and 10-year- old son.
Tsarinamisha, who claims to be a 'close friend' of the couple,' wrote on Gawker's website: 'I can assure you he portrayed himself as having been legally divorced in 2003.'Their closeness and the fact that their relationship was very public led no one to believe otherwise.'They attended family and professional events as a couple, lived together for eight years and bought a home about two years ago.'I was a guest at numerous of their parties and he introduced her to numerous people, including his son, as his girlfriend.'

Weight Watchers Weigh-in Floor Collapses
A Weight Watcher meeting was underway in Vaxjo, Sweden when a rumble was heard, then a thud and "everything flew up in the air." The floor collapsed, first in one corner, then around the walls, and then other sections began caving in. Everyone at the meeting made it out of the room with out injury, including the scale which was moved to a hallway where the weigh-in continued.

Sarah Paddy Jones Salsa: 75 or 92 Years Old Sarah Paddy Jones Nicko Dances Salsa
There are several stories going around about Sarah 'Paddy' Jones dancing the salsa. The first story I received in an email said Paddy is 92 years old and was dancing salsa with her great-grandson, Nicko, who is 29.
A bit more sleuthing turned up a story about a Spanish woman living in Valencia, Spain who took up salsa dancing after the death of her husband five years ago at age 70. 'Nicko' is said to be her dance instructor. 'Paddy' and Nicko have travelled all over the world to dance:
They also wowed old time film and TV stars in LA when they graced the stage at an international salsa congress at retirement complex Laguna Woods Village in The Old Pros’ Stars of Dance event.Whether Sarah 'Paddy' Jones is 75 or 92, this is an amazing story. When I first watched the video, thinking she was 92, all I could muster is, she has to have danced all her life, and taught this young man to dance as well. It appears he is her teacher and she is a quick and nimble student. I want to be Sarah Paddy Jones when I grow up. Watch the video to the end.
The duo were the only Europeans invited to attend the glittering bash in May - organised by salsa star and promotor Albert Torres who has worked with the likes of movie stars Jennifer Lopez and Walter Matthau.

Drunkest Guy Needs Beer Video
Ya, the drunkest guy you've probably ever seen - not making his momma proud - at about 10:45 a.m. The big question: how did he arrive at the store?
Watch this version if you want to hear him summon his Lord and Savior and the Virgin Mary. Language alert. Be sure you have a barf bag handy for that one. Good grief!
The video below spares his very personal audio drama.

Barocky Road Cone: Ice Cream honors Barack Obama
Another laugh for the day (see another here):
In honor of the 44th President of the United States, a well known Ice Cream shop has introduced a new flavor: "Barocky Road".
Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate, and surrounded by nuts and flakes.
The vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient.
The nuts and flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow.
The cost is $100.00 per scoop.
When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but then the ice cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you who didn't have the money to buy ice cream.
You are left with an empty wallet and no change, holding an empty cone with no hope of getting any ice cream. Are you stimulated?

David Morrison NASA 2012: NASA Refutes Planet X Doomsday 2012: ACORN to Organize Post 2012 Leadership
Of the many end-of-times theories out there, the world ending in 2012 is the most current theory being buzzed up. So rampant is the buzz, and so wide the belief that the world will end in December 2012, that post-2012 survival guides are now available and ACORN is organizing through the Human Continuity website, to prepare for post-2012 leadership. Dr. David Morrison the Senior Scientist of the NASA Astrobiology Institute refutes the 2012 Doomesday theory. See a video below.
The new movie, 2012, was spawned because of the intense interest in the Mayan calendar ending on December 21st when the planets are perfectly aligned in 2012, and the mysterious Planet Nibiru, or Planet X collides with Planet Earth, sending Earth into a "polar shift." Planet Earth is the loser, as Nibiru arcs-off to journey on. The earth reverses rotation and disaster ensues. Here is what Dr. Morrison has to say about the polar shift:
A reversal in the rotation of Earth is impossible. It has never happened and never will. There are slow movements of the continents (for example) Antarctica was near the equator hundreds of millions of years ago), but that is irrelevant to claims of reversal of the rotational poles.
However, many of the disaster websites pull a bait-and-shift to fool people. They claim a relationship between the rotation and the magnetic polarity of Earth, which does change irregularly — with a magnetic reversal taking place every 400,000 years on average. As far as we know, such a magnetic reversal doesn't cause any harm to life on Earth. A magnetic reversal is very unlikely to happen in the next few millennia, anyway.
But these sites falsely claim that a magnetic reversal is coming soon (in 2012) and that this is the same as, or will trigger, a reversal of rotational poles. The bottom line is: (a) Rotation direction and magnetic polarity are not related. (b) There is no reason to expect a reversal of magnetic polarity any time soon, or to anticipate any bad effects on life when it does eventually happen. (c) A sudden shift in rotational pole with disastrous consequences is impossible. Also, none of this has anything to do with the galactic equator or any of the other nonsense about alignments that appears on many of the conspiracy theory websites. The theories sort of run into each other. Some believe the Sun will be in the middle of the Milky Way in December 2012 and this will bring the solar shift. NASA's Astrobiology website says this cannot happen:
There is no alignment of planets or of the Sun with the Galaxy. As far as being in the center of the Galaxy, this is impossible; we are slowly orbiting the galactic center at a distance of about 30,000 light years. The idea of a “pole shift” is also unfounded. Most people seem to mean a rapid change in the rotational pole of the Earth, but this is something that has never happened and never will.Is this something you have given serious thought to? Has it made you think more than twice about our world ending in December 2012? Do you think it possible that our government - in fact, all governments and their bevy of scientists, could cover-up the impending doom of a colliding planet solely to prevent panic? I can see all over the web that some do not like Dr. Morrison's answers.
To be truthful, I remembered something about the Mayan calendar ending, but not much. I knew nothing about Nibiru. Getting into this is fascinating. A huge number of people believe Nibiru, or Planet X exists and, believes it will enter Earth's orbit at some time in the future with disasterous consequences.
The theory seems to be that a NASA satellite discovered the mythical Sumerian planet, Nibiru in 1983 and that it was reported in "leading newspapers." I can find none of those reports today. It may have been called Planet X, Planet Xena or Planet Eris at that time. Nibiru, according to the story, has been "hiding behind the sun." It will make itself evident to the Southern Hemisphere late 2010.
Dr. David Morrison says that a "sky survey" was done in 1983 and all "Planet X's" discovered would have been expediently named, and the name "Planet X" would no longer be applicable, until the next unidentifiable cosmic mystery was thought to be discovered. In fact, the NASA Infrared Astronomy Satellite which surveyed the sky, known as IRAS, has never identified a planet.
The 1983 studies have been duplicated with upgraded equipment and no Planet Nibiru has ever been recorded. The movie 2012 is due out November 13th, 2009. You can view a trailer here. In this new world of technology and communication, and the desperate need for fact checking, Columbia Pictures, or their publicity "people," have created a website, The Institute of Human Continuity (IHC), which Dr. Morrison says is entirely fictitious. IHC says their own "astronomers, astrophysicists and mathematicians" have conclusively verified that Planet X exists and will "interact with our Solar System in catastrophic ways by 2012." You can click on "Begin disaster scenario visualization," to see information about magnetic fields and the Earth, and escalating solar-magnetic activity. You can even choose when to send solar flares. Evidently some of us will live post-2012, because you can vote for post-2012 leaders. ACORN is registering voters now.
