Some fun bit of news....

I can't believe that our Arizona stay is coming to an end....especially when we extended it by almost a week! By the time we get back to our house it will have been 6 weeks! WOWZAS! I don't know how it happens but it flys by and before I know it, I'm back on that plane crying my eyes out. It will be much harder to leave this time. Usually I know I am coming back in a few months and that makes it so much more bearable but unless Ben gets a job here we wont be back for awhile. You'll see our lovely little reason why in just a minute....

One of the most hard things about being a photographer is never getting our photos done! I mean, I actually will do them via a remote for my camera but I must tell you...it is a RIGHT PAIN IN THE REAR! Thankfully, I have made a few choice photographer friends, a couple of special ones in particular and since dear Jen lives here in the valley she offered her fine skills and gave me the images to play with (now that is photog with confidence!). Here are a few of my own edits.....

Could not eat this guy up?!

As you can see, I am a little larger these days! Due to a little peanut tucked up in my belly! Oh yes number two is on it's way. A little man or a little lady to make their appearance in mid October! We planned on waiting till Owen was two to try to add on to our family but we felt it was time and were so grateful, so excited and happy as ducks for this one to get here!

Owen already knows where the baby is and gives it plenty of kisses!
We are loving that and hope that lasts!!

Jen thank you so much for the photos....I seriously could NOT narrow it down and love them all! You are superb, so glad I know you and can't wait for your babe to arrive two weeks before mine!

So we are off back to England...we've got more AZ photos to share so stay tuned. Were hoping to come for Christmas so hopefully we'll see you 2009 and we'll bring our new addition!

See you next time!

Say it aint so....

Prom. Was my prom really 13 years ago? It only seems like it was just a couple of years back! Now here are my niece and nephew going to prom.....WHAT?!?!?! No way! I still remember him with his cute little glasses at 3 who was totally in love with Tigger. Miss Makaelee used to get me out of bed by saying, "Wait up Ninny, it's a butipul day, WAIT UP!!!"

I have heaps more that I will put up on the Pied Piper blog soon and you can really see how prom has changed over the years!! Although the "date awkwardness" is still kicking around. It was hilarious how none of these guys could put their arms around their dates waists. Ben and I kept totally hiding our giggles under our breaths but it was just funny. I totally remember that! Although I think if it was my son and daughter headed out, I would prefer that!!

Long time, no post....photo overload....

I get so busy every time we come that I forget to post all about our happenings while were here!

We had so much fun in Utah with my good friend Katie and her family. I have known Katie all of my life and we used to have sleepovers from "yea high" for as long as I can remember! We both went to different schools, lived in different states for awhile, were on missions at different times...etc. She is one of the few friends that you don't have to talk to constantly but when you do, you pick up right where you left off. We have always tried to connect every time that were in the country but the last few times it just never worked out and it was looking like that was going to happen this time BUT Katie being ever so amazing flew us up so that we could see each other!

Sidenote: She cooked us deliciously fattening desserts EVERY.SINGLE.NIGHT! I am much tubbier now then when I left! They were so good though....argh....mouthwatering!

We had so much fun and Owen played with her Spencer and Lily ALL DAY LONG! He had mega Spencer withdrawls when we got back! It was so great to be there and such a treat for us....thanks so much Katie...we miss you guys....come see us in England!!

(the Sunday sand castles were the highlight of the trip for the boys!)

The dads had just as much, if not MORE, fun than the kids "helping" them build the sandcastles

I also got to see my MTC companion and good friend, Sara and her cute family! We had a fab photo shoot and an amazing dinner out!

And just by luck my very good photographer friend, Rachel from LA was in Utah while I was there so we had a quick but fab visit! So good to see you Rach if even for two seconds!

Such a great time had for all! So great to see everyone and catch up!

I cannot believe that we leave on Thursday....I'm trying not to think about it cause it makes me want to cry!

So we've been catching up with friends and fam and I have not had two seconds to post one single thing!

(a shot from the mock photo shoots at my workshop)

I had my workshop which was a success and something that maybe I'll do again! In hindsight, you always think of a billion things that you could have done better and I already have a list of the things I will change. It was great though! I have always loved teaching so it was a fun experience!

I've been doing photo shoots and been busy but luckily we've managed to squeeze in some fun date nights with friends and lots of playdates for me and Owen! Ben has only been able to golf once but hopefully we'll rectify that soon!

Were off to freezing Utah today...I only brought my converse! I did not plan for cold weather and it is supposed to snow up there tomorrow! YIKES! We'll keep you posted on that!
