20 weeks 4 days

So earlier this week we had our ultrasound with Maternal Fetal Medicine to find out if everything was okay with baby and also find out the gender.  It's crazy though cause everyone I know that's pregnant is having a girl! I'm the only one I know that's having a boy, but I'm happy about it. There's quite a few of us pregnant right now.  I know some due in June, I'm due July, August and September.  Talk about a great time to have babies. lol. Yesterday I went in to see my midwife for my routine every 4 week check-up.  Because I'm seeing a midwife now, you actually don't get assigned to a specific midwife in the clinic.  The way it works is the day you have your appointment, whoever the midwife is that's on at that time is the midwife who will see you.  You can ask to have appointments with one specific midwife, but I decided that I would be open to meeting all of them so when it's time for me to give birth I'll be comfortable with any of the midwives.  Yesterday I met Marykay, and we had a quick short appointment.   We listened to his heartbeat and it sounded fine.  I got results from my labs that I did the last time, and all were good and normal. I weighed in and was PLEASANTLY surprised to see that I lost about 4 pounds since my last appointment. So I'm basically still at the same weight I was pre-pregnancy and I refuse to gain any unnecessary pounds.  So as long as baby is growing I'm fine with loosing weight off my own body. lol.  Now I say I'm pleasantly surprised cause we just had baby moe's birthday on Saturday and we had tons of food! We had pupu chicken, beef broccoli, lusipi, mussels, ota, ufi, potato salad, cake and ice cream. And yes I ate them all! So all weekend long I was eating heavy tongan food, so I'm still glad to have lost. :)

To my baby boy a.k.a. "mama's baby" ... Keep growing strong and healthy.  I still feel every moment you make (and you make a lot now!).  We love you so much and can't wait to meet you in a few months. We're half way there :) Keep going strong my little man! :)

We're Having A....

BOY!!!!

excuse the bad picture.. it was a picture of a picture...

So Moe and Kesaia will have a little brother.  :) It's funny because I've always had a feeling we were having a boy.  I've only told Fehi a probably my sister about that feeling, but never sat too much on it, because like I said, I didn't care what the gender was.  But as soon as she started my ultrasound, baby was not cooperating.  She couldn't get good pictures of him, and though we didn't know at the time it was a "him", I unknowingly said "Is he facing his back towards us?" lol.  I caught myself and was like, Ok I'm already saying "he" like I know it's a boy.  But 10 minutes later, we would find out that indeed I was right, we are having a boy! :)

He was being a stubborn little one through the entire ultrasound though... he didn't want to face us so we never saw his face at all.  He was making it a little harder to even make out his arms, hands, legs, etc.  It was hard to even get to see his "manly parts", this picture of the ultrasound is probably the only time we got a peak and then he moved.  The doc had come in and tried to get better pics of his heart, but baby was being stubborn and wouldn't move. lol.  The doc would push on my belly trying to get him to move, and as soon as he would stop I would feel baby kick a few times. lol.  He did the same with the Ultrasound Tech., when she would push hard on my belly, as soon as she'd move he'd kick in that very spot she was at. lol. This guy, he swears. lol. :)

I should've known he'd be somewhat of headache during the ultrasound, because I've been having headaches all day! and it won't go away! lol. Ok maybe he isn't the DIRECT reason for my headaches, but they are definitely there. We are both still very happy and excited.  Fehi asked me what should name him, and there's really only two names I want, Fehi (after my hubby of course) and Enele (after my grandpa).  Fehi likes Siua (after his stake president who fehi really admires, he helped him go on his mission and what not), and I don't mind that name either, but now he's thinking of names from the scriptures.  Either way, I don't really care.  As long as it's something we can agree on.

I'm about half way there, and excited for the future.  I'm gonna go rummaging through all of Moe's old baby clothes to start preparing for this one to come.  And I also have a few months to get Moe potty trained and out of my bed, and in his own. lol. In any case, we're feeling very blessed, and excited! I know the kids will love him, they love babies! :)

Todays the BIG day!!! :)

In about 6 hours we find out what this little angel of ours is...

a boy or  girl! :)

I can't wait to first of all just to see my little baby...

This will be the first ultrasound (period) that I've had all pregnancy

...which is probably the longest I've ever had to wait for one...

But I guess that's why I'm so excited...

My mother in law says my belly is apple shaped (?) so I must be having a girl..

Hmmm...

I don't know about that theory, cause my belly was probably apple shaped pre-pregnancy.. lol

And all the "belly" I have now, I see it as 75% pre-pregnancy belly and 25% actually baby belly lol

Everyone asks me what I hope for...

I tell them... "that my baby is ok and healthy and growing"...

and as far as gender... I don't really care.. :)

My hubby says he thinks he wants a girl (lol)

Because Kesaia is soooo much more easier, calmer, etc. than Moe.

He has a valid point, but in the end I still don't care.. I'm just glad to be pregnant. :)

So go ahead and leave your guesses if you'd like.. I'll be back with news and ultrasound pics! :)

My Baby Boy turns 3!

Moe at 3 almost 4 months... in his white tux for a wedding line :)
Today, well technically, 3 years ago my contractions were in effect. (Bare with me as I reminisce.. lol) I would've been awake for almost an hour now, trying to pack a hospital bag, shower, make sure my hair was pretty ;) all while breathing through pains I never felt before.  In another hour and 45 minutes we would be on our way to the hospital, and 6 hours from now we would welcome our firstborn Moeakiola Fisilau Latu! :)  I still can't believe it's been 3 years... I've definitely enjoyed that time that I've been able to watch my son grow. :)

The day we found out we were pregnant, we were so excited, and I couldn't believe we were having a child already.  Funny story is I was expecting to get prego right of the spot (tmi) as in our first night as a married couple lol... then I almost cried when I got my "friend" 2 weeks later (after getting married), but that would've been my last "friend" for the year cause 6 weeks later we found out we were expecting. :)
Ahem... Yes I know, we got pregnant 2 weeks after we got married... we wasted no time at all.. lol.. I think it helps that we both KNEW we wanted kids, so... why wait?? lol
Mommy pregnant with Baby Moe (forgot how far along I was)
On February 18th, 2009 we welcome our baby boy.  I remember pushing him, and for a good hour, I wasn't getting anywhere (btw, I went natural.. so an hour of naturally trying to push.. ugh yeah.. u get the idea lol... ouch).  I finally realized that I was pushing all wrong, I was pushing in my face thinking it was translating to "down there" but it wasn't, and finally I pushed "down there" and few minutes later he literally flew outta me. The doctor barely caught him.  But you could see all the evidence in my face of my amateur pushing. lol.

Moeakiola Fisilau Latu
7 lbs 7 oz 21 inches
2/18/09 1:38pm

His name was given to him by his aunty Makueta Maopa Leaaemanu, Fehi's sister.  His first name, Moeakiola, comes from the name of Fehi's only brother (so he's named after Fehi's brother), and his middle name comes from a close relative, almost a brother to Fehi's dad, it's their last name.

Nana with her first grandchild.
He was only a few days old at this time.

My mom adored him.  She came and spent a few days in Salt Lake City, and I would stay with her at my Uncle's house when she was here (we were still living at Fehi's parents house at the time).

It's been such a blessing to have given an opportunity to create, birth, and raise a child of God.  Baby Moe has been through his fair share of ups and downs (pneumonia 2x, rsv, and hospitalized 2 times, ear tubes surgery, pink eye... ) during his short life here on earth, but he's continued grow and amaze us each day.  Every night he sleeps with me in my bed, because I'm afraid of the day he'll say to me he wants to sleep on his own, then I won't get all the cuddles and hugs that he gives me at night. He's been my partner when daddy worked graves and we've definitely grown a strong bond.  I love you son, and I hope you enjoy your special day today.  This is your first birthday in a house of your own, so what better way to celebrate than having all your family come over and we eat yummy foods, and you get showered with attention, love, and gifts.  We love you son! love -mom & dad (mama & daddy as he would call us)

Enjoy the rest of Baby Moe's baby pictures!!! :)

Daddy & Son

I just had to show you this picture of my husband when he was baby.. people always wonder where my son gets his hair from and what not..

Don't mind the white "flash" on fehi's baby picture... I was taking a picture of a picture and needed the flash on to get a good picture of it lol... that's why man made scanners right! lol

And here's the original picture of fehi's family... Missing his dad (Maile), and I don't think his sister (Kina) was born yet...

Tax Season

Most people love this time of the year.. Tax season.  I on the other hand, HATE IT. lol. The past few years we've filed our own taxes (turbotax.com) and we've come out with an okay return.  Which is expected with the income we make, etc. but I am in AWE when I hear people get like $10,000 back on their tax return. Like for reals... How? LOL.  And then those same people throw it down the drain with nonsense purchases. lol. (No one in specific in mind.. I promise. kinda. lol)  Anyhow, this year (as in every year since we've been married) I don't plan on getting a big return, and I rather like it that way too.  I have been trying to understand more about money, taxes, returns and learned that you really want to get as close to zero as you can.  As in trying not to owe, or get a big return. It would be wiser to set your pay throughout the year to where you are getting most of it back, and in your savings account (versus with the IRS) then when tax season comes around you don't owe anything, but don't get much in return.. does that make sense?  I hope so, cause it did in my mind, but may have translated into something else when I typed lol.

This year will be the first year I have a w-2 since we've been married, or more like since 2007... so woo-hoo to that. lol.  I'm probably going to spend the next days (weeks) running numbers through turbo tax, comparing it with others, maybe seeing someone, and then filing.  And then I'm gone run foolishly through the malls, grabbing everything and anything, and spending all of it, and watch it go down the drain too. lol. I'm just kidding... :) I can't wait to do the adult thing and pay off some bills! (The song by Destiny's Child 'Bills, Bills, Bills' just came to mind lol).

Happy Tax Season Everyone!

Baby Kicks & My Vday Love

Before this pregnancy it had been a year and a half since I was pregnant with Kesaia, since I've felt a baby kick.

Lately this baby has been making its presence known. :) A few weeks ago my midwife asked me if I felt the baby kick or move around, and I just said I didn't know because I've been so busy that I didn't notice. Well this weekend and since then "mama's baby" (what the kids call the baby) has been kicking and moving around a lot. I'm only 19 weeks along, but I definitely can feel the movements.

The first time I felt baby moving I was listening to music on my laptop when baby starting moving/kicking like crazy. I told Fehi, and we were both pretty excited, I guess it was another validation that yes there is another little one in there :). Now I've noticed more movement, I think it's just baby's way of making sure we know to prepare for him/her when he/she comes. Lol

In exactly a week we find out what we're having. Im excited and thought about taking the kids with us, but then I rethought that idea and I think I'l leave them home with my brother. They'd be a handful for fehi, and I want him to be able to enjoy the appointment with me.

Anyhow, today is Valentines day, and guess what I'm doing... Getting a Mani and pedi :) that's so my ritual. Today I have to work (boo!) but it's ok cause its just another day. We all should feel inclined love more often than just once a day.

Yesterday my husband decided to let the 2nd job go because it was affecting his performance at his full-time job, school, and it took him away from me and the kids for majority of the day. There were times we'd only see him for a few minutes before he would sleep for only 2/3 hours before going to his grave job. He told me yesterday how nice it felt to be home with us and how much he missed us, cause I know I missed having him around.

My husband is one of those guys who loves to stay at home with his family. He doesn't make plans to go out with his boys/friends because he'd rather be with his family. I appreciate that he's like that, because I'm the same way. He's always doing things to make us happy and always puts us first before anything.

So today I dedicate this special day to my loves: my husband, baby moe, princess Kesaia, and "mama's baby" :) love you!

Have a wonderful valentines today and spread some love!! :)

Getting my toes done :) Vday Morning

Love love love my mani-guy, he has done the best job with my nails in all my fake nail history lol
don't mind the dry hands/fingers lol
Before I went to work I decided to make some red velvet cupcakes from scratch

I ran out of red food coloring.. hence the BRIGHT red color lol

Here's the cupcake with cream-cheese frosting.. and it was YUMMY :)

And here's one of valentines with her mouth stuffed with hershey kisses lol

Is it over yet? Lol

How come this weekend has felt like the longest weekend ever! I've been wanting to go to Vegas, not for the concerts, or the rugby, or because everyone and their mama was going but rather I wanted to go because my brother, sister, my uncle and his wife were all out there. 3 of them I probably won't see until may-ish, so I just really wanted to go, kick it with them, eat jack in the box (lol) then come home.

Instead I've been working all weekend just waiting for this weekend (aka Vegas thing) to be done with. My family will be returning home to Hawaii tomorrow morning, so I put in a request for jack in the box. Hopefully they pull through and I'll grab it from them tomorrow (they have a connection in slc).

Anyhow, it was nice to be home with just our family. We didn't do much, but it was nice to have some downtime, and have my husband all to myself. :) Usually when my brother is here my husband will kick it with him, so since he's in Vegas, I've been hogging my hubby all weekend long. Lol definitely can't complain about that. :)

Valentines is coming up, usually Im off on tuesdays, but this week I have to work (boo!) good thing it's only 4 hours. So we'll just have to plan our vday date for earlier in the day. Though I already know what's on my list.. A manicure and pedicure, yes I said pedicure! Lol. I've been wearing shorts, tshirts and slippers just waiting for better weather :). Anyhow, hope everyone's week goes great! And spread some lovin! Lol

What to do... What to do???

Instead of working on my response paper for english that's due tonight, I'm stuck trying to decide what I should do.  Lately I've been thinking a lot about our education, and I'm coming back to how I use to feel before. I first wanted to explore other options (as in my major) other than nursing, because I didn't want to be in school for THAT long.  Now I'm back in school for a Nursing Degree, and I'm starting to reconsider that major because of the feeling of how LONG it's going to take.  Maybe, it's also because I've never actually had experience in the field, and so I question if it's really something that'll I'll like/want to do for the rest of my life (though that's what I've always felt like since High School).

My interest in Nursing was sparked in our Health Occupations class with Mrs. Nielsen in High School.  I was part of the red cross club (as the secretary) and we went to different events, sometimes on weekends, and I enjoyed it.  She taught us how to do CPR, etc. and that's when I knew I wanted to do something in the medical field.  Now that it's been what 10 years, I still get that same desire, but then that desire gets overshadowed by my other desire of NOT wanting to be in school for that long.

I've also been thinking of being a CNA, then hopefully I can find a job as a CNA, and then get some experience in the field that way.  At least if I do that now, I still have time to change my mind if I decide to, and if I don't, then even better, I'll have experience under my belt.

So decisions, decisions.  I wish I wasn't so indecisive about what I want to do. :/

I Hate Goodbyes!

We just said goodbye to my sister and her bf Mike :( It was so nice having them here, I just wish they could stay a little longer, but Mike has a rugby game in Vegas tomorrow morning, so on they go to endure that long drive to Vegas.  I'm not all for the seven's tournament in Vegas that's happening this weekend, but I wouldn't mind going just to spend time with my sister and them before they actually leave back to Hawaii.  But that's still in the works, so we'll just have to see on that.  All-in-all I'm glad they were here, and we tried to do as much as we could while they were here.

Yesterday we had an awesome dinner with our dad's side of the family in Orem.  I haven't seen them since October, so it was nice to go over, cook food and talk/catch up for a little bit.  We had YUMMY food.. pupu chicken, beef and broccoli, garlic shrimp, rice, salad, and rolls.  Not to mention the desserts, strawberry cream cheese (like cheesecake) dessert, and a coconut cake. I was very full, and baby and I were content, very content. lol :)

Today we didn't do much but chill at home, and before they left my sister wanted to get toys for the kids, so we went to Ross where she got Moe another iron man, to add to his collection, lol... Kesaia got a toy too, but wanted an iron man, and also got a pop up toy story tent for them to play in.  My kids are always being spoiled by their aunt, and I'm forever grateful for her and her love towards my kids.

I think I'll have to stop this post now, before my pregnancy emotions get the best of me, and I start crying. lol. Until next time! :)

Back From Vegas!

The drive to Vegas and back must've been the LONGEST day of my life! lol.  But it was fun!

Our journey started at 4am Sunday morning, we got up, got ready and all jumped in our rental van.  Which I must say we LUCKED out on.  I paid $49 for a full-size car for 2 days, but they only had a Mini-Van available which worked out best for us especially with kids.  :) So thank you Enterprise! :) Once we were all in the van, we said a prayer before we started our journey, and by 5am we were on the road.  My husband drove first, until about 3 hours later, when the sun was up, then I continued the drive to St. George where we stopped for Jack in the Box (of course).

At first the kids, well Kesaia, was a little moody.  She didn't want to sit in her carseat, which is a little shocking because she's usually content sitting in her carseat.  Anyhow, we got to get out of the car for a little bit then continued our drive to Vegas.  Once we hit Cedar City, we switched again and Fehi continued the drive till we got to Vegas.  We got there at about 11am, which was perfect timing because my sister's flight got in at about 11:15am.  My brother was so excited, and he just started taking pictures of EVERYTHING.

After picking up my sister and her bf from the airport, we drove them to get their rental (they're renting a van to drive out to UT and back to Vegas for the seven's) then we picked up a little cousin of ours who lives in Vegas.  Then we stopped at Yoshinoya's to get their Beef Bowls.  I have to admit, that was only my second time eating there, and I had to try it again to see what the hype was about.  And I honestly think it's alright lol. Maybe it's cause my tastebuds are hawaii grown so it just didn't do it for me. lol.

Everywhere we went, my brother was just so ANXIOUS to get to the strip.  He kept asking "are we going to walk to strip? when are we going to the strip?" and blah blah blah lol.  We finally went after eating at Yoshinoya's, and once we parked he basically jumped out of the van, and started walking before we were even all out of the cars. lol.  FYI, he's 21, single, and only saw Vegas once when they drove through.  So he was all kinds of excited lol.  The weather was perfect, but for some reason none of us thought to bring a stroller for the kids, so we had to walk with them, and carry them at times.  It was fun to just see everything, but I told my husband that I could NEVER live there.  There was just too much things out there, if ya know what I mean. lol.

We spent a few hours there, shopped a little bit, ate some more, and my brother basically found somewhere to watch the Super Bowl, while the rest of us (me, fehi, the kids, and my sister and her bf) went back to the vans and took a nap. LOL. Yeah, I know, we're boring and old. lol.  We decided to just take a nap and wait for the single ones to be done with Vegas lol.  We started driving back to Utah at 7pm the same night. So it was a very LONG tiring night. I drove from Vegas to about where we were 170 miles from Salt Lake City, then my husband took over. We were both so tired, and finally got home at almost 3am Monday morning.

It was a nice, quick getaway, but I told my husband, now I know why I work at Delta... so I don't EVER have to drive lol.

Getting' some snacks for our trip to Vegas...

Vegas for the Day :)

So finally after a week of looking for someone to cover my Sunday night shift, I finally got someone! Woohoo! :) And why you may ask? For a one day trip in Las Vegas! :)

So next week is the 7's Rugby Tournament, but that's not the reason why we're going.  My sister and her BF are in Portland right now, and are making their way to Utah.  It was cheaper for them to fly from Hawaii to Portland, and then a one way to Vegas and then drive to Utah and back for the tourney.  So in an effort to help these two locals who've never driven across state lines (come on, Hawaii only goes 45mph at it's fastest lol) we're going to meet up with them in Vegas and then drive back together.  You're probably wondering why we don't just fly and meet them out, there then drive back with them (I mean why work Delta if you have to drive right? lol) and the reason being is because we have my brother with me.  So he's not able to fly freely like we are (keyword "free") and I thought it'd be fun to pack up the whole family and get a little bit of the driving experience (good and bad lol).

I'm excited for our little road trip , mainly because of the foodstops on the way.  lol.  I know, super fat or in my case.. pregnant (Yes I am one of those that use's it as an excuse at times so I can eat how I want to eat lol) but I think it'll be a fun get away for us.  We plan on driving out late tonight, and then getting there a little bit early (before my sisters flight gets in) so we can tour Vegas.  The last time we were in Vegas was 3 years ago, when Baby Moe was 1 month old!  So it'll be fun and new for all of us.  But lets not forget the food, we have to get some Yoshinoya (Beef Bowl) and Church's chicken! :) Let's just hope I don't gain too much on our one day trip to Vegas! lol.  Have a great day everyone! :)

My Kids are Growing too Quick! :(

Jan. 2012

Can you believe that these two monkeys lol (picture above) were once this small:

Baby Moe at a few months old (2009)...
Kesaia at 2/3 months (2010)

:(

They have grown so fast! Baby Moe (well I guess we should just call him "Moe" now since he's not a baby anymore...) turns 3 in two weeks, and Kesaia will be 2 in April.   Yesterday in class my teacher and I had a quick conversation about how pregnancy and having kids make your brain go crazy. lol.  Then she jokingly said "that's why women with 10 kids, keep having kids cause they've gone crazy". LOL.  It is true, and I think I've already hit the crazy stage with having another child.  Or maybe I'm crazy cause I plan to have all my kids out and in the world by the time I'm 30, which gives me another 5 years.  And with this pregnancy I think we're about half way there (do the math of how many kids I think we'll have lol).  However, I know I do miss having little ones around, and when I look at Baby Moe and Kesaia I just reminisce on how small they use to be... :( they are growing too fast, so good thing #3 is on the way.

The other day I told my husband, "oh my gosh babe, I'm gonna be like 7 months and huge by the time the semester is finished." lol. He just agreed and laughed too, but it's true.  I've never been pregnant at all while I've been going to school or working so it's definitely something new for me.  My pregnancy has been going well since last week (when I was sick, nauseous, and headaches...) I have noticed though that I started to get a little heartburn. Boo. I had LOTS of heartburn with Moe (and they say it's cause they have a lot of hair, and he did have a TON of hair, and still does lol) but with Kesaia I didn't have as much (hence the reason why I'm STILL waiting for her hair to grow lol), so I'm not sure what to make out of this.

I've noticed a theme in the foods I eat, right now I'm in a mexican and fruity stage.  Weird, definitely, especially for me. lol. But I find myself wanting burritos, and juicy/island fruits.  Yesterday I basically ate burritos with sour cream with salsa all day, and this morning I cut up my huge papaya I got from costco, and I'm salivating over it right now because I have it in the fridge chilling as my snack for work tonight. Mmmmm :) lol. Other than that, I've been way more active than I have in weeks.  Now it's not the active, get up and start running/exercising (though I wish I could) type of thing, but more so that I'm cleaning and doing things around the house a lot more.

The other day, I was cleaning up our bedroom, and felt the need to rearrange the room a bit, and of course what do I do? I choose to move the HEAVIEST thing in our bedroom.. the bed. lol. Seriously, Our mattress is huge and heavy.. Here's a picture of it:

So obviously I found this online, and that's not us dancing in the background, and our bedroom isn't this nice either, but there it is... our bed. It's the most comfortable thing ever, and I love it.  It was actually my mother's day gift from my hubby a few years ago.  Just the mattress itself is or at least feels like 100+ lbs, maybe I'm exaggerating, but nevertheless it's heavy.  And if there's one thing Fehi doesn't like is me moving things around (when I'm pregnant), especially the bed, but me and my stubborn pregnant self felt it REALLY REALLY necessary to move the bed right there and then at 1am in the morning lol.

So I muscled my way to lifting up the mattress, leaned it up against the wall, pushed the box springs to the corner, and then let the mattress fall/flop back on top. All the while I was trying extra hard not to break a nail lol (no really  I just got it done a few weeks ago lol).  I called my hubby while he was at work and confessed to him what I did, he didn't say much, only "oh ok" but as soon as he came home in the morning, he laid next to me, I thought he wanted to hug or something, but then he was like "what did I tell you about moving heavy things?" lol and I just laughed and he chuckled too and was like "you never listen" lol.  I did pay for it a little bit, because my back was hurting just a tad bit, but I guess I'll just go back on what my teacher said... when your pregnant and have kids you go crazy and probably do crazy things! LOL.

(side note: I totally went on different topics in this post, but that's just me, my husband laughs at how I can jump from one thing to another, he doesn't' get the connection at the time, but when I explain it to him he gets it but is like "you're weird" lol.  So yes this is all connected somehow! hahahaha... Have a good day!)

Less Soda = More Energy... Go figure! Lol

First of all I have to say that since I've left FB, I'm blogging a lot more. Which I love cause I get to record things going on in my life a lot more frequently now... So yayy for that!

Another thing is I definitely want to post more pictures up but I'm hardly on my laptop and lately I've been blogging from my phone so one of these days I'll definitely make my posts a little more colorful with pics.

Anyhow, back to my title (less soda...etc). Since my prenatal appointment last Thursday... Ya know where she told me I need to drink more water, and my husband agreed and went on a tangent about how I drink how many cans of coke and blah blah blah... Then I demanded he have a sample tested to see how much water he wasn't drinking too lol. Well I took into consideration what they meant and at the time I was defending my bad soda habit, but I came to the realization that I really was drinking too much of it. Realistically I was probably drinking at LEAST 5 cans a day (oh and FYI I consider myself a camel. I can drink A LOT. I think I'm just thirstier than most folks). So I figured my soda habit was probably out of hand, so I've been trying to 'wean' myself off and I'm proud to say I drink a lot more water now and most days only one can of soda a day, though I would like to eventually get down to drinking soda only every now and then.

I definitely do like the benefits of less soda, especially having more energy! Sadly, but gratefully, my husband has been doing all the cleaning around the house (But can I just say that I love when he cleans, he tidies up real well!) But anyways, I haven't had the energy to help him too much and now I think cutting out the soda has given me the energy to do more. I feel more useful as a wife and mom now that I am doing more. Or maybe I feel more useful now cause I'm not camping on FB all day lol.

In conclusion (lol sorry I'm thinking of my paper I have to write hehe) I'm feeling more active and better. Our family is doing awesome, and did I mention I absolutely LOVE having my brother here! He's such a big help. And that's it for me GOODNIGHT! :)
