Lava Hot Springs and Yellowstone National Park completed our summer vacation.
Our small family along with my parents, my sister Kathy and her kids, plus my brother Josh had an incredible time!

We all drove up to Lava Hot Springs, ID after we all got off work, and set up camp at the local River's Edge Campground. All I can say about it is it stayed trued to it's name, we were right on the edge of the river, as you can see from Avery chilling out in her camping chair.

We all had a blast exploring the old town, and swimming in the local mineral hot pools, even though it stormed on us the ENTIRE time.

The campsites were so tiny our tents were crammed right next to each other, and that was with a double site.

Avery's a natural camper, she didn't fuss at all, and loved swimming, she's our little water baby!

It rained on us all night, and so we awoke to a beautiful sunny morning, packed up and heading to Yellowstone. We didn't forget to pack our little bundle of joy, who's personal chair fit in the trunk along with her!

On our way up to Yellowstone we stopped in Rexburg, ID to fill up on glass, and Robert wanted to stop at BYU Idaho where he started his college career as a freshman.

We also stopped by the Rexburg temple which was absolutely breathtaking.

Robert showed Avery and I around the campus a little bit.

We explored a new building that was built there that looked very similar to the conference center, is was beautiful.

We stayed the night at a lake in West Yellowstone that was absolutely beautiful. That night we walked out to the dock and just looked out on the lake and the stars, it was amazing.
The next day we packed up and headed into the park.

These were some gorgeous falls we stopped at.

Approaching the geysers.

Avery enjoyed all the hot pools, and the paint pots, I just needed to keep her close, I didn't want my water baby getting any ideas.

Kathy, my sister, looking so pretty next to one of the hot pools.

My brother Josh, dido.

My hot husband.

Braden and Grandma checking out the steam.

This was a cool river that the hot waterfall fell into, it was really cool to watch the steam as the boiling water merged with the cool river.

Brooklyn thought it was pretty neat as well.

Mason and Grandpa walking the trails.

Our awesome family.

Avery and Old Faithful!

It was a fun trip, and we were sad to part ways with the rest of my family who when on their way to the campsite and the Tetons, however, we had to get home. Avery was glad for a break, and fell quickly asleep for the long ride home.
