Brigham & Lexie

These two kids are just adorable.  I can't stand it.

Brigham is a HUGE cheeseball and LOVES to have his picture taken.  So here are just some random shots of him lately.

For some fun reason, Vance and Breanna have decided to bring out their
old Halloween costumes and play dress up.  Brea was a witch last year,
and Brigham thought the hat was awesome.  He got mad when Brea tried
to take it off.  He makes a pretty cute wizard.

I got Briggs out of the tub and then actually combed his hair, because he
is in dire need of a hair cut.  But, it came out to be the most adorable picture ever!

For Christmas Brigham got this train set, and Kevin and I glued
the pieces to this plywood, so the track would quit falling over every
time he tried to drive his train.  He LOVES it!

And, I can't believe it, but our sweet little Lexie is a MONTH old!  Actually, in baby world, she is 5 1/2 weeks, but to those who don't care...she's a month old.  I wasn't able to get a post on her One month "birthday". (I know, I'm a slacker of a mom...WHATEVER! I NOW HAVE 4 KIDS! WE'RE LUCKY I'M GETTING ONE DONE BEFORE SHE'S 2 MONTHS OLD!)  So, here are the cute pics of her.

This is the only picture I took of her on her actual one month birthday.
She obviously was not a fan of the camera.
"No pictures, please!"

This one was a few days later, but it was my first attempt to get her
while smiling.  YES! SHE HAS STARTED TO SMILE!  I think this
one looks pretty funny tho...she kind of has a pirate/Popeye thing going on.

I don't think I could have cuter kids.  Sorry to all the rest of you out there.

Jazz Man & Valentine Pics

I figured if I post both of these at the same time, they'll be in order.  Last week Vance was very busy with Jr. Jazz. He had two games AND an appearance by a Jazz Player.  They don't tell us which Jazz player is coming until we get there that night.  But, I totally guessed it.  Send the ROOKIE!  We got to see Gordon Hayward of the Utah Jazz!  I was excited.  There were tons of kids there tho, so it was VERY impersonal.  Vance didn't even get to meet him. Just look from the sidelines. Hayward did bring a bunch of signed pictures and Vance thinks it is the coolest of his posessions right now.  Here are some pics from our evening.
In this one, the kids had to guess whether or not Hayward would make the shot.  If they guessed wrong, they had to do pushups.  You can see Vance's feet.  He's got gray and green pants on, to the left of the two kids who are pushing each other.

I know this is kind of a cruddy picture, but it was like one of the only times that Hayward actually looked in our direction long enough for me to take a picture.  "Hello Gordon Hayward!"

Vance is #19 at the bottom of the pic.

Valentine's Day arrived and found more than half of our family sick.  Kevin had stayed home sick from work that day, and Vance's fever that he had Sat. and Sun. came back Monday night, Brea had a major runny nose, and Brigham also got a fever that night.  We did start the morning on a fun note.  Each of the kids received a stuffed animal from mom & dad. The pictures crack me up because they have "morning eyes". (It was like Christmas morning-- because Brea was here when the box was delivered and I told her she had to wait until Valentine's Day to open it.  It was the first thing she said when she woke up that morning. "Mom--is it Valentine's Day?  Can we open the box?")

And I took some super cute pictures of Lexie in one of her many Valentine's outfits.

We ended the night with a family candlelight dinner, (thanks for the idea Nicolle) pink cupcakes for dessert, and a movie together.  It was a family affair, which made it so fun.  I sure do LOVE my family.

MY blog.

I have decided that this blog is super fun to do.  It is like an on-line scrapbook for me.  I write so much about what we are doing as a family and what's going on with my children...I love it.  But, I also decided I needed a blog for ME.  I need something to motivate me to be a good wife and mother.  So, here is the link to MY blog.  It's all about my goal to be a SUPERMOM.  I hope you will all visit it, and leave your comments.  That is one of the reasons I did it.  To get in-put from other "super-moms" like YOU.

Cute pics of my 4...

Yeah, it's crazy to think I have 4 kids.  But, they are a fabulous four and stinkin' cute as always. I finally got a good one of all 4 and some more of Lexie, so...enjoy.
